I am finally using the XA software platform, when I get to go to the Only location in our company that installed it. I will be there 3 days this week! I am going to try this. All of my coworkers are pretty stuck in the 'old' way of doing everything so they give me the side eye when I try new things.

Can go for tse Dixon t1. But it takes time though. Or just standard t1 tse fs with proper shimming.

Maybe I already asked this question before. But using DRB, we keep getting aliasing, even with 200% oversampling. If I don't use DRB, than there is no issue. Any idea how to fix? this?

Hi Bac Nguyen does this tip improve Fat sat ? On Avanto Fit , entire spine we always have fat sat fault on the neck...

Use dixon for correct fat saturation. Especially on Avanto, with that old coils and gradients

No I don’t think it will improve fat saturation. Dixon is the way to go on that area. On Avanto fit systems.

Interesting. Other than the pacient comfort you could go even higher with this technique . Have you also tried it to position it lengthwise on the neck ? Also worth mentioning that this strategy only works on 24 channel coils systems and above.. Maybe not even 24 channels , depending on configurations .

I think they mean how many channels the system will allow to be used simultaneously, but I think any machine running XA50 will have at least 32. I know the cheapest Aera packages were only 24.

@@Pendergeist on Amira 24 and Sempra 16 systems the UF18 comes with 2 rows disabled from factory so they can be used simultaneously with the Spine coils for body imaging.
