My husband and I have been married 17 years. There have been some rough patches, falling in and out of like and back into deep supernatural love that God blessed us with and sticking it out brings. I'm not foolish enough to think things will be easy from now on. We were both married before and both scared to commit again. This is a song I would have played at my wedding back in 2016 if it was out back then. Love really is a choice and not so much feelings. I'm so blessed to have a husband who loves me through thick and thin and has never backed down when times got tough. I went through really bad postpartum depression/anxiety after both pregnancies with our daughters and it caused me to be so afraid that because of all of my meltdowns and freakouts (many of them were really scary), he would decide that he didn't want to put up with me anymore and would leave me. But he stuck by my side and encouraged me all the way through and reminded me every time those emotions became too much, that he loved me and was not going to give up on me, that it would eventually end, and that it was all going to be alright. If you or anyone else reads this, I would appreciate prayers because I am less than 8 weeks away from my due date with our baby boy, John, and the thought alone of going through that postpartum depression and anxiety again is intimidating and scary. I have a counselor who is going to be there for me through it as well, but it really is a hard and scary ride, especially when you have a baby who is depending on you to be there for them. Ps. Your wife Danielle did something so sweet and so wonderful after my first baby was born and I was having these issues. She saw me asking for help in the wee hours of the morning when the anxiety was so bad that I couldn't sleep and was having scary thoughts. She immediately had things sent to my house to help me through those times. I don't know if y'all even know how much of a blessing that was to me and how much it helped me get through. What an amazing blessing your whole family is to this world. So I pray that God continues to bless you all right back!
