Blue-green, definitely! I am retired and live in Malaysia - a warm, humid climate. In a space that large, the pink color story will overheat the room and not be nearly as refreshing or attractive on a hot afternoon as the blue-green color story. After you've been there for a few weeks, you will find yourself drawn to the cool clear colors of nature around you. Yes, there are accents of brilliant pinks, reds, and yellows, but the majority of the colors are cool and refreshing. The blue of water and sky, the greens of foliage, the lovely white of the sand.

That's a Catholic thing as well at least in Scotland. When I moved into my post divorce house with my son, after escaping a violent marriage I had the house blessed with holy water and prayers and also with salt, Crystals and burning herbs. Thought it best to cover all bases

Definitely blue/green. One of the coolest design tricks I’ve ever seen was seeing someone plant flowers outside each room of a house that matched the color story inside the room, it looked so expensive and luxurious that the indoors was carried into outdoors- embrace the ocean magic!!

Blue/Green is fantastic for the living room tying everything together with the indoor/outdoor. I am not so sure about the pink even though it is opposite of green. I would go with a yellow before I would go with a pink. Oh, and I like the idea of the chicken coop. You are teaching Moon about how to save the seeds, this will teach Moon how to take care of the chickens and also how you get "free" eggs. You guys are amazing!!!!

I think we’re going to be hearing the word ‘paradise’ quite a lot from now on. I think we tend to associate the word paradise with rest, relaxation, and peace. Green and blue both have a reputation for all these things, whereas pinks are more fun and pop-y. Not only will the green-blue colors encourage relaxation in the common area, they will indeed bring the outdoors in, be true to the vision for this home, and fit seamlessly into the natural green-blue of the land around the home. I friend of mine painted her house in different colors. I loved it and the colors all blended well. I mentioned it to my husband when we bought ours and he said definitely not. Also coming from a kid who grew up in a colorful house (my mom painted every room a different color too) it was fun but I definitely painted over all the color with gray when I got old enough 🤣🥲 miss my colorful house sometimes though. Loved it growing up. In case you were curious; Living room was gold, dining room was a Pepsi-like blue color, kitchen was BRIGHT orange (sun would reflect off and BLIND you at 7am). Hallway and moms room were green. Bathroom is maroon. My room growing up was purple and yellow…then turquoise and brown. We literally had a rainbow room (there’s a bunch of old molding in the walls that looked like stripes and she like alternated colors with the stripes, honestly really fun kid room) upstairs room was mint green. Downstairs room was light blue🤣🤣🤣 did it look good??? Not even sure cause it’s all I knew!🤣 can’t wait to see your much more beautiful and well put together rainbow house🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈 no shade to my mom 😂

The 'Pink' story, definitely, although not all the 'pinks' are pink. Some of them lean heavily to orange, brown, and terracotta. They seem to harmonize with each other while some of the yellows are visually shouting at the more muted blues and greens, which seems impolite. Blue green for the living room would be incredible, I love the green that’s second row down and second from the left with rich blue accents! I see you’ve already chosen pink for the kitchen, I wouldn’t be a fan of yellow for the bathroom, it just kinda makes me think of a damp mouldy bathroom, it would however be amazing in colour blocking in the likes of hallways with shapes and lines to tie colours together!
