Joey's man cave is overdue for a colorful makeover. My mom She Shack is one outdoor garages they turned into a kitchen and hang out area with the bar area. My dad has the main garage for the motorcycles so that's his man cave 😄

I will admit that I was an advocate for the beanbag return from the proverbial curb!!! My heart swelled for Joey's plight after hearing Kate's description of Joey's honorable fight for the family's new home @ 1 a.m.! My new zeal for Joey's beanbag began after he was out in the storm digging ditches to well off unwanted torrents of flooding during the horrible storm!! So, sue me!! I landed on Team Joey...I'm not sorry!!!

Thanks for showing us the realistic side and not always the nice for guest rooms. I feel like I do this too. My living room, kitchen and bathroom are nice and ready for guest. But my bedroom is a mess and not decorated. It’s definitely always the last room I “fix up” or even think about decorating

I was expecting the wallpaper through the whole room to be a bit much but was very pleasantly surprised at how it came out. I love the highlight colour you used for the trims and stuff too. I was totally expecting Moon's "Welcome to the jungle!" to be followed up by "We've got fun and games!" :)

When you described a typical man cave with dark colors, wood, lots of technology etc- I realized that’s exactly my style and how I want my entire house to look lol. I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to ‘dark vibes’ and it’s basically the interior design of a modern gothic cigar lounge for a gamer lol! Pool tables, black walls/accent walls/ dark furniture, woods, faux leather, brass hardware and accents and contrasts of white. Led lighting with projectors, gaming setups. Air hockey table, pinball machines, snack bar, dart board, whiskey and spirits bar. A few steampunk/old world British colonial style decorations for the shelves/display areas. Aaaaand I’m a woman lol. Oh well, I’m cool with my style lining up my with a man cave as long as it’s a clean and tidy, cool man cave hehe.

Yeah.. I think she should have her own woman cave/workspace. Everybody needs an area just to have to themselves, to pick their nose and put up random posters, whatever makes them happy and get away from the world, whether that looks good or not. As for the wallpaper it's totally too much for what should just be a calm area to focus on editing and relaxing. I think if they did one wall with it, it would look amazing, but this feels like a tacky jungle themed kids room. That said this is the first room I've seen done by them where I haven't loved it, normally they're amazing

A 'Man Cave' is the One place in the house where a guy can go to get in touch with the 'little boy with no taste, color co-ordination, seriously questionable furnishing choices '... they can hang their precious (usually considered ugly by their wife/significant other ) posters, momentoes, collection of odd games, instruments and other paraphernalia from their time with 'the boys'. Essentially a place where your man can be a boy, warts, farts, stupid jokes and all.
