That Carl Edwards clip always makes me sad because we didn’t know that was going to be his final race. And a couple months later he announces his retirement which was a shock to everyone. Rough way to go out like that.

He didn’t retire, he ragequit. He realized that as long as NASCAR was using the playoffs to effectively rig the championship in favor of whoever they wanted to win, he would never win a Cup Series championship.

This is why I love this sport. Yea there’s always differences of opinion and rivalries but to help a teammate or to check on someone after a wreck or congratulating someone on a win when it was good racing that to me is the definition of what makes nascar great

If there is one thing that both Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. cared about when they raced, it was the safety of their competitors (Ally or Foe). The Intimidator would bump you, or possibly wreck you, but he cared about everyone's safety.

I mean, I really don't think Sr. was like that. There's more than two instances where he's hurt others on the track (i.e. broke DW's ribs twice in a few years by just deleting him) but we can ignore that. Not many people actually knew Dale Earnhardt, so that's what people are going to say. (I have family that worked for him)

Earnhardt was a true racer, and if you wanted to be a true racer, you took lessons from him because it was to show that you aren't showing all of your true colors, talent, and whether you need to changes to yourself such as using a little bit more of your car than how you usually wheel it.

Another thing about the Carl Edwards championship clip, Brad Keselowski legit wrecked himself on purpose just to avoid hitting his teammate Logano who was competing for the title.

3 things I can reccomend for #2 - 1994 Dale Sr mentioned Senna in his VL interview at Dega. 1993 Sr and Rusty took a polish lap with a 28 and 7 flag out the side of the car. 1994 Dale Sr talked about Neil Bonnett at Rockingham after winning the title

I hate kyle Busch as a driver, but i respect him as a person because he cares and respects all other drivers. Also Carl Edwards is imo the cleanest and friendliest driver ive seen since mark martin.

every generation of drivers has the "bad guy". From Dale to Kurt to Kyle (Yes Kurt was the bad guy at one point) they've all been the antagonists. makes watching races fun tbh because they're good. If kyle is in a fight for the win then it's great watching him lose but also kind of fun watching him win.

People say Kyle Busch is an asshole when he drives, but that’s just his character. He’s the villain, and he embraces it. If it weren’t for his character, Kyle most likely wouldn’t act like people say he does. I like Kyle Busch, even after Darlington last season.

You know what I noticed is that catch fence crashes always look super scary but really the fence is just doing its job of ripping up the car to keep it away from the stands while keeping the driver good

Plus, I'll never forget that Pocono wreck on the back straight away in 2002 when Steve Park, & Dale Earnhardt Jr came together, & Park got the worst of it, & 2015 Daytona July race when Austin Dillon had a great big frightening wreck.
