Their early youtube vida are very much of their time and hes said hes embarrassed of them but leaves them up to keep himself accountable. He is a prolific comedian and musician and artist in general, everything hes ever put out has been great imo

Your facial expressions and reaction to just about every shocking line is why i clicked on this on. 😂 He was young and a bit immature just playing around. It's shockingly funny comedy and you reacted like I knew you would. thanks for doing this one. I hope you do more. A lot of his newer stuff is still a little shocking, but has more of a mature substance.

You can say hes just joking around but its way more clever than almost any rap song where people introduce themselves lol. You are inadvertently insulting 95% of hip hop/rap if this is just him "playing around".

For me the clumsy-shocking youthful exuberance makes this track a kind of endearing time capsule. Being shocking is a social currency amongst teens sometimes, but there's still a hint of Bo's legendary self awareness in the way he pokes fun at that while leaning into it, even back then. You get a sense of this enormous raw talent just busting out of someone still raw and unformed themself and it just always kinda touches me because the ungainly, enthusiastic youthfulness of it is so relatable.

Thing about Bo Burnham is his Hatetred of the Industry and what it representz and the Heinous Excessive Nature of it! one of hgis songs is a expressed line of disgust at himself over how his "name in lights could of fed a family for 80 fortnights!" is paramount of how he views the industry and its wastefulness and the disgusting imagery of Excess and well just flagrant Sex used as a selling point.
