"wait this isn't offensive" No, it's not. Tom MacDonald made a song about loving everyone nomatter their race and people were like "yo that's racist dog" Usually by white people ironically. But yeah, no, treating people equal is basic and the people who can't understand that are simple. Keep it up fam! Ps: and yes, if people think America is racist, they've never been to Asia......

He made this video while the micro aggression community was running on high octane. So a lot of the hate was silly. Whoever told you to be open minded is simply just a knee jerk reaction to the hate it got. Anyone can watch you for 5 seconds and feel comfortable knowing you can dissect a message.
@briangarner63123 жыл бұрын
He had so many haters, he took their blood and bones and created the foundation for his career. He explains that in "This House". Great reaction brother. Loved, loved, loved the comment "they told me to be open minded but my mind was already open". Good stuff!!!

You're quickly becoming my favorite reactor and it's so cool to get to take this journey through Tom's music with you. To help the narrative of his story, this song sets the stage for Tom's response to the...less than reasonable... reaction from some vocal critics. This House, his response to the criticism, shows a more raw and confident Tom and solidifies his connection to his fans as well as showcases his ability to create powerful imagery through his lyrical talent. That, in turn, sets the stage for his beef with Mac Lethal that shows a funny but brutally disrespectful side of Tom and how quickly he can go from concept to a fully produced video; about a day and a half. It's six straight minutes of bars spit in multiple styles seamlessly that I've heard is considered to be as ruthless as Em's KillShot. As an aside to the story, you should check out "Ashes" which features Tom doing during asking the lines of rap-rock-country fusion. It's one of my favorites, but never gets the attention it deserves because it's so out of his normal lane and he hasn't really ventured into that territory again (yet?).

@Nuetral768 Жыл бұрын
"You are who you hang around with." TRUER WORDS NEVER SPOKEN!!!!! It's part of why I tell people I'm not racist, but I am racial. Before I even acknowledged race I got attacked by a bunch of black girls for something a black boy told them I said that I never said... That experience opened my eyes that it wasn't safe to ignore the effects people's skin can have on their minds. Since then I've also realized that it is disrespectful to expect that your experiences as someone of color have taught you nothing, the people you grew up with taught you nothing, the ways you have related to this world because of the color of your skin have had no impact on how you see and treat the rest of the world. And further more, not all black people are African American nor are all white people European (etc, etc)... To acknowledge a person's skin color and not have it mean anything more political than that is not racist, it's racist to treat everyone like every black person or white person or male or female or hetero or homo all belong in the same separate box from everyone else for no other reason than these singular aspects of their lives. Respect to everything in this video.

I got so far into things before I hated my own race. No sane person would openly LOVE the fact their ancestors owned slaves.. However, I learned that I shouldn’t be ashamed of who I am.. because I’ve never did any of the deplorable acts and I wouldn’t stand with anyone who would commit such acts. This song kinda explains what was going on in my soul when I was battling the hatred of my own race.

Your reaction video to Tom MacDonald's canceled video was a suggested video of mine. I haven't watched any of these reaction videos, any. But then I decided yeah let's listen to a reaction video, you had put in there that he was the most dangerous man in America and I wondered if you meant in a good or bad way. And then I agreed with everything you said. So I went and listened to another one, completely agreed! And then I watched the reaction to Nova's hey You video! Then this one! You gained a new subscriber!! I love, You tried your best by Nova!! Tom is now one of the few rappers I will listen to around my children. We used to like Eminem, but he didn't want certain political followers to follow him and he said that. now every time I see something with his name or even begin to hear a song I roll my eyes, yeah the man can rap fast and string some stuff together. But he's lacked some real substance, Tom puts out real music, real in the sense that we can relate to it. He's not afraid to go after the social and political climates. He hits those hard-hitting topics, brazen and boldly. The fact that they call him a racist is hilarious he's far from it. You know I agree with him how did my generation raised on South Park, Family Guy, all these other lewd shows. How did we become so easily triggered and offended? What went wrong?

I have much respect for you keeping it 💯 since unfortunately alot of people lately don't have the ability to keep it 100 and look at it for what it is and make it something it's not. So thank you for being the open minded, respectful, non bias type of person that I see in just this 1 video. I wish we all as humans not just Americans but everyone in the world as humans could be more like that. 1 suggestion tho, when you pause to talk start back up like 5 seconds behind where you paused it at. Don't have to be 5 secs but just a tiny bit back so nothing is missed or starting in the middle of a bar or word. Just a suggestion. Thank you for the video.

the "warning" you received and the general premise of most of Tom's music is that he's under the impression that MOST people seem to think a certain way, when he's really only making reactionary shit based on really dumb nobodies on Twitter. most people don't even know who the fuck he is and doesn't care about this.
