Idk, have sold perfect nagels for Ist... I think one must consider the demand when evaluating items... When someone wants some item here and now they usually are paying higher price. I myself have traded lots of times paying "double" the price just cause I needed item now. Don't see any issue in paying more but not wasting time if I can afford it. It's all pixels after all and I wasted enough my time getting my pixels already

Why is every list tell: Ber : 3 or 3,5 Sur : 1.75 (Because half BER) Jah : 2 or 2.5 Lo : 1.5 Ohm : 0.75 Vex : 0.5 Gul : 0.25 (Because half VEX) Ist : 0.16 Mal : 0.1 What the hell happened this years lol. Yeah there are some exception at launch of a ladder (varies in time) like Vex = Ohm (HOTO too popular) and Lo because Grief is broken and its BIS for Smither. If I remembered correctly, in PoD you were selling BER for 4-5 HR. PoD may have slightly a different economy because of some nerf but still... the list above was the standard forever by everyone and its just a fact.

Some things you point out, may not have high "value" but things are sought after, for reasons, and anyone willing to pony up for what they seek, may be worthwhile... For instance.. low level dueling is a thing.. Twitchthroe armor.. is insanely good for the level and purpose.. "Value" is relative to two peoples agreement.. 🤪

I was doing CS runs and I had a Mara's drop. I wasn't looking for it or expecting it but when I saw a unique amulet drop my heart rate went up so fast lol. Then again you never find anything when you're looking for it is what I have come to find out in D2.

Dude sometimes you say things is just so wrong I'm just gonna have to chime in about it. They fixing the metal grid by using on other characters that log out and then their iron goal is gone now it stays with you... Like a beast master drew it or characters at characters that have minions who make a to make a runeword weapon and add the like a thorn's aura or concentration aura etc. To boost your minions. Druids, assasins etc. Now the iron golem stays after you log out.

It's important to remember that you cannot cube recipe sockets into an ED ethereal base but, Larzuk quest does have the ability to give the ED ethereal base it's max sockets. So there's that.

That's not true. The cube recipe is made for especially ED bases. It can NOT be used for already sockets items. But everything else works 100% regardless of what it is be it rarest, magical, unique, set, low quality, junks, normal, superior, enh def, enh dmg%, combinations of both enh dmg and enh def and etc.

Break them up into tiers in your mind: Jah, Ber Sur, Lo, Ohm, Vex Zod, Cham, Gul, Ist, Mal Honestly, the easiest way to value an item is to try and trade it and see how eager others are to trade you. If you make a game "Tal Arm 4 Vex" and a bunch of people immediately join your game. Quit that game immediately and just remake it as "Tals Arm 4 Sur" and try again. Keep doing that untill it takes a a minute or two for someone to join your game & you'll know you've found the current 'aproximate' value of an item.

I haven't played much of D2R due to life responsibilities but as a seasoned D2 player I'm finding some of the values assigned to runes somewhat perplexing. I always found the best way to assign values especially to "high runes", Vex and up, was based on what Runewords they can make, how useful those Runwords are, and Rune Rarity (how hard they are to find/drop rates) as this will also affect Value. These ARE my values I put on runes. Most Valuable to Least Valuable Jah, Ber (Highest Value) - Makes "Enigma" which gives Teleport to Character classes which otherwise can't Teleport. 'Ber' can also be used to make 'Infinity' which can break Elemental Immunities also COH 'Chains of Honor'. Most people put these at the same level I always have put Ber value slightly higher than Jah. Lo - Required to make Grief and Fortitude. Grief is best melee weapon in the game and Ultimate Smiter Weapon. Smiters are best at taking down Ubers/Dclone. Ohm - Used to make CTA 'Call to Arms'. Allows character to use Battle Orders Increase Life/Mana (Huge Importance) Rarity affects value Vex - Makes HOTO 'Heart of the Oak' Valued for it's use on casters (Sorc and Hammerdin) Sur - Not used in any popular Runwords but some PVP runewords and niche Runeword builds. Zod, Cham - Zod best used in BOTD 'Breath of the Dying' as well having an 'Indestructible' modifier used in Socketing Eth Uniques. Cham 'Cannot be Frozen Modifier' and used in 'Doom' Runeword. I would put Zod slightly higher in value as it's more useful. Ist - Used to make many useful Runwords, CTA, Infinity, COH as well as has +MF Modifier. Depends on where you're socketing but in some cases offers highest MF per socket in the game. Gul - 2 Gul Runes and 1 normal ruby Cube to Make Vex. Why so low? Makes no useful runwords besides maybe 'Death' which is used in niche builds. Death is beat out by Grief in almost every build. Mal - Used in a lot of popular Runewords. CTA, Grief, Infinity, Beast to name a few. Lastly, I would almost NEVER trade for Sur, Cham maybe even Zod unless I had plans to make a Runeword using them. They are not a good currency as their usefulness is severely limited even if they're in the HR 'High Rune' Category.

No, sorry, you could put a zod rune in it, but that's not worth doing. The rune is worth waaaaaay more than making an eth indestructible. Zod rune is the second most rare drop in the game. Vipermagi will drop pretty easily in comparison for a second time, long before you get a zod rune.

I think Atmas have a great value right now because poison damage is so strong especially in hell/act3. I would nearly trade everything I have to just have this amu for my pala only for act3. Its soooo stupidly hard.

Some are decent like vipermagi, good rolled ormus but yea very few, thing is items changed in value and more items were added in later patches, so something that was “valuable” or best at one time got outshined later, especially with runewords. For example grandfather used to be the best melee barb weapon, silks was the best in classic etc.

Yeah runewords have broken the itemization. You have the option to go classic where the economy is much different and uniques/sets actually matter.

Can someone explain me why ethereal items are worth more than normal items? I mean you can't repair them. They will break some day and you can't use them anymore. So why make a rune word with them? (You just can put a ZOD rune in them, that would stop it). Where am I wrong? I don't get it.

No dura loss when mercenary uses item as well as caster weaps no dura loss from spellcasting. Ethereal items have higher base stats to scale with runewords.

what do you mean by 40 perfect gems? like 40 of them or the 40% resist ones?

Perfect gems where more costli. Not shure how its now. But around 20 pg was pull and 40 was ist. If there where mixed you could get up to vex mal. Pure ametist, rubys and spahiers where high rune jah ber cham zod depended on the dealer. If you suplied alot he whould give you better one ocasionali. And someone whould ask. Why perfect gems whats on it. Well any 3 can shufle great charm and from usles get maibe a skiler. Others where used in crafting of orange items. Ametist where used in E-bugging. So maibe their value droped now. :D

You say bringing 3pgems to and trade is worth nothing but, I always ask for some pgems when I trade, if I get 3 I have an other Chance on rolling my Grand Charm as a Skiller. As a trader you will get a ton of Bonus Chances on Skillers just because of asking of them at the end of a trade negotiation.

i've watched it several times for the armor bases and I'm either deaf or dumb.. or maybe both lol. but does the video ever say what the armor bases are worth? got 2 3os archons, 3os dusk, some 2os serpernts for neflum, 4os balrog, and some others.. no clue what runes i could/should trade for..

atm they aren't worth much pul- um. for bases to be worth alot, you need them to be perfect and have low str requirement. atm, a 3os 15ed dusk or ap/mp is between 3-10 ists

keep in mind that the most valuable items in d2 were always rares. There are possible rings that would be worth 100 soj´s easily. Ethereal rare weapons can be super op (eth ba selfrep 2os 40ias 400ed foolsmod lol). But even a decent 2sk 10fcr rare amulet with stats and res is already way more valuable than a maras.
