Do the caps or washer dont know what they are really called ones with notches in them have to be put back in with line lined up with the notch in the housing or does it matter.

+heavydiesel thanks! Yeah they work very similar to an automotive AC compressor, uses a single acting swashplate plate to drive the pistons which in turn compress the water!

I have one that is almost the exact same and when I took it apart a small spring with a piece of plastic came out and I can figure our were it goes. I have a video.

How high you Film in the New oil?

I didn't as this was scrap, but just measure out what came out and put the equivalent in new oil back in when rebuilding it.

These use a variant of compressor oil for lubrication. Slightly higher viscosity.
