I mean...three good looking guys...amazing foot work, wonderfully sharp choreography. They are seriously better than a lot of the famous people that dance in their performance. I also love that they are expressing not only in the body but also the face. A lot of dancers forget the face. I also can't get over how humble they seem in spite of being so sassy.

The energy in this performance is phenomenal. As one of the judges commented , none of them were " just " back up dancers. And so polished , from styling to use of props, to music choice and then the engaging choreography that really does straddle that fine line where the audience says how do they do that and they also make it look easy. 6 years later and Im an even bigger fan. Yanis Marshall is such an inspiration. He's a modern day Nureyev 💗

Considering heels were invented for males in the military. As in to help the Persian archers while in battle to be able to stay on a horse. While shooting arrows at the enemy. You should. It would be in many ways good for a man to reclaim what was invented for guys to wear. We women started to wear heels to appear more masculine.

I am Japanese. I'm using a translator so I may be using the wrong English ... Even if I am not good at exercising and am interested in dancing, I often give up because I do not have the skills. But your dance captivated me and taught me a lot about the charm of dance. Looking at your dance, I realized that dance has great appeal beyond gender, age and language. Now that I'm studying English, it's very difficult to understand what you're talking about. But one day my dream is to be able to listen to English with my own ears and speak with my own strength. I think your dance will look more attractive if you can listen and speak on your own. I'm just 15 years old, but I want to go abroad and learn a lot. Culture, food, and of course dance. Even if I grow up, I will never forget the charm and excitement of dance that I have just felt. Thank you for all the excitement. And I will continue to support from Japan.

Something that I find astonishing about Yanis Marshall school of dance's that he uses all those movements that were once forbidden to MALE. Watching his videos we rapidly find how powerful those guys are, and I don't think it's about dancing 'like' a woman or whatever, it's all about being free and exploding all our bullshit about gender. Yanis Marshall's a revolution in dance and the meaning of "gender". Bravo les mecs, vous déchirez !

Although it might seem a little offensive, you can see that Dec was trying to be funny. It wasn't the best way to do it, but he's trying. I grew up with a lot of "traditional people" and yes, sometimes they're just mean, but sometimes they're trying to approach us but don't really know how. I think that's when it happens. We have to be strong and stand against bullying and people who're trying to offend us, but we should definitely be kind and understanding to the people who're trying their best, even if it's not in the best way. That was how a lot of my friends started to understand me as least. It takes time.

@percyeverdeen10 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? You could tell they found it funny... Arnaud chuckled and Mehdi even made a funny face... It's obvious that. Yanis wasn't offended by it either or else he would have edited it out of the video... It was funny
@Junurpoet10 жыл бұрын
PercyEverdeen I'm not sure you and I are watching the same clip. Nervous laughter and other inaudible cues are common reactions when someone blind sides you with a tough question or puts you in an uncomfortable situation. Yanis' reaction was the most obvious one. When the question was asked at 5:34, did you not notice the surprise on Yanis' face? How about the 4 seconds of silence? The audible sigh? Or the hand gesture he made trying to move the keep it moving? The biggest one was the "Yeah" right after the host tried to explain 'That was just a joke". Notice the tone and the side eyes? Tell me you didn't see that? Mehdi's face was more of a ".....really?" face.
@Gizella201010 жыл бұрын
PercyEverdeen Sorry, but you are terribly wrong. Yanis is a very famous person and has certainly been the victim of similar attacks before, but regular guys in similar situations can be destroyed. Arnaud and Mehdi was mask Yanis sake, what else could they have done, hit the questioner in the face? On the other hand, he would have deserved it. Hope he apologized afterwards.

@@jacquilineyabour1094 yeah, slippers are worse. Especially those with open toes. The front part always folds under and makes me trip.

Um, this is amazing!!! Honestly, I’m surprised they even had to enter a “talent competition“… These guys are clearly super talented, dedicated, professional dancers. Seriously I am disappointed that I didn’t learn about this group sooner, but so happy to have found you now and I am inspired by your work. I’m a performer and I am going to think about the work you’ve done when I am putting together my show.
