I think most audiences first became familiar with Summer Glau in as the character River Tam in "Firefly." Though the role was not dancy,. just the pure acrobatics required for some of the fight scenes required an actor with real dancing chops. She was miraculous to watch :)

The one that surprised me the most was Mads Mikkelsen. That dude seriously freaks me out and that was before he played Hannibal. Second was Taylor Lautner, as I didn't know he could dance. I had never heard of half the people on this list and I think we've all known about Tom Hiddleston's talent for so long it can hardly be a surprise for anyone (even if, like me, you don't follow anything Marvel related). What surprised me, and really *shouldn't* have, was Christopher Walken's performance in Hairspray (which I'm ashamed to say, I've never seen. Missed it at the cinema and have been reluctant to watch on the small screen). With his smooth moves in Fatboy Slim, The Stepford Wives and even SleepyHollow, I feel I should have known he was a trained dancer

Good list! Alfonso Ribeiro's dancing go much farther back than The Fresh Prince though. He started as a dancer when he was only 8, beight cast in the lead role on Broadway in The Tap Dance Kid. He gained national stardom when he starred in a Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson and The Jacksons.

I don't know why I keep watching Mojo's list. They're always such BS. What about Emma Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mila Kunis, Renee Zellweger, Natalie Portman, and Tom Cruise - who's dance scene at the end of Tropic Thunder is one of the most iconic scenes ever in movies plus his dancing in Risky Business too.
