I love the sound of the engine in the M7 when they depart/stop at a station

Wow!@9:15 I've never seen a M7 coming off the Oyster Bay Line

That's #1501 to Penn Station. That's the only train that comes off that branch as an M7. 3rd Rail ends at East Williston, plus theres a siding to hold that train. It appears at around 7:30AM on weekdays at Morning Rush. it returns at about 6:30AM and may meet the westbound Oyster Bay #503 to Penn Station. They needed to store electric trains there til the 3rd rail was constructed to Hicksville around the 80s. I also have an independent video of this train coming off this branch.

MrMaster767 Electrification was extended from Mineola to Hicksville in 1970, and then to Huntington that same year. Hicksville to Ronkonkoma was electrified in 1987 (Not trying to criticize you or anything, just letting you know the correct dates).

Nope, was the signals. When there is a fatality, the only traffic that is affected is the traffic that is going towards the accident. Once past the scene, and there are no employees nearby, they usually speed up to MAS, unless of course, the signals do not permit MAS, due to traffic.

At 6 minutes you can see the diesel past the Mineola platform, then the M3 comes through hauling it, and the gates at Willis Avenue in the distance and then go back down, and the M3 is over the crossing and the gates have only been down for 2 seconds, and 5 seconds later the M3 blows right by you at 80 MPH, the MAS.

Yep. I enjoyed the trains at MAS the most. Even though the wind kept hitting me so hard. lol

Either the signals or, had to do with more on an investigation due to someone being hit on the Pt Jeff branch which left partial suspension on the branch before I came here.

The one on my side was going about 60 MPH actually. MAS is 80 and the gates out there went up for about 1/2 a second and went back down and yeah, I saw that.
