I like matty but this is what I cant stand about him. Having your own opinion is 1 thing. He should not give games that flop so hard the time of day after launch. Cyberpunk and fallout 76 should be boycotted. He should not even speak of them. Such trash cause hes supporting them by talking about them all. They deserve to lose money and get no attention. Might have been too annoying during testing or they simply never made it to begin with but I definitely think it would be a cool game mechanic to avoid the rain like the plague while jumping from cover to cover during a fight since one logically couldn’t carry an umbrella during a fight or fight efficiently with a huge hood covering your eyes

I love this game, have since day 1. I was very lucky and never had any issues. 1 thing I wish they would add is the ability to customise your appendages, change the colour and look of your arms, legs, cybernetics over your body. You see NPC’s in night city with the coolest looking gear.

There is a great mod on Cyberpunk nexus thath adds a ton of cybernetic arms. It's called Arasaka Cyberarms, it has many diffrent options. I really recommend you look it up if you play on PC.

As someone who Pre-Ordered Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and played on launch I can definitely say that the game so is much better! I recently got the PS5 version of this game about a week ago and have been enjoying my time in Night City a ton! I’ve also been watching the Edgerunners Anime which has has been a blast! I’m glad to see this game and anime getting the attention it deserves!

Yeah, I played it on my ps4 pro and to be hoenst I didn't have as many bugs as others but some quests didn';t really work. could never finish a few of them and the graphics on the ps4 pro even though it says 4k enable on the back of the box looked iek a 720p game. like it was BAD. but the gameplay was still kinda fun.

New police chases are coming in the next update and I really hope they nail it. As for playable life path intros idk if they'll add that in at any point. One can hope.

Personally i feel a 3rd person mode would break the immersion and make the game feel less real, less like you are really V. With that said tho im not opposed to having options for those that want it. I just think I wouldnt use it cause the first person cut scenes, how the characters move and interact etc really made you feel like you were there.

I haven't picked up Cyberpunk 2077 but the fact that CD Projekt has not given up on their game got me thinking about giving it a try. I wish Game Studios like EA/BioWare would take note of this because it is sad how they abandoned Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda. When a game studio abandons their project like EA/BioWare has it makes you think twice about buying any of their products in the future. Overall, I hope CD Projekt continues to work on Cyberpunk 2077 and wish them much success.

Cyberpunk is my favorite sub-genre of sci-fi by far. I was so excited for Cyberpunk 2077 all the way up until release. The buggy mess it launched as made me steer clear of it until they started adding in some patches. I was lucky enough to get it when it went on sale a few months ago for super cheap on steam. I hadn't had much opportunity to play it until recently and I'm amazed at how far it has come since its initial release. I have shamelessly logged in over 40 hours of gameplay this last week and have loved every second of it.

Matty CDPR did that back in the first WItcher game as well, when it rained the people would head for shelter like standing under archways, going indoors, etc, and then come back out when the rain died down. It's little details like that that make their gameworlds appear better than they actually are.

I have noticed that the pacing of the game is significantly slower now (I like it)... I got to the point of no return where you can chose to finish the game or keep mucking about and at this point I still haven't met Kerry and there is a butt load of side jobs I haven't done that I remember doing in my first playthrough. I like that it feels stretched out now but it makes the story feel even shorter than I originally thought. it still feels like you either have to finish the game super fast and then you can go enjoy the slow pace of the city but with zero incentive to do so.. or you can put off the story as much as possible to actually live in and build a character in Night City.. personally I don't think this game will ever be as good as it could have been but this update is actually making it feel more approachable and less muddy.

The Edgerunners update was great for finally having a non-gig activity in the first arcade game. Transmog actually got me to play around in the photo mode for change. It's surprisingly fun! Overall a good update.

There's just a lot of love put into the world and it's characters and there are lots of ways to play. FYI FOR PS5 OWNERS - the haptic feedback is awesome and very dynamic depending on the weapon or car, if you're into that.

Cool update but I don’t think any amount of surface level patches that fix minor issues are going to fix some of the game worlds major issues. They’re fixing what’s *wrong* with the game but they’re not adding in what’s *missing* in my opinion. The conversation on Cyberpunk still angers me. Everyone talks about bugs but no one talks about the VERY mediocre game underneath it. I was one of the lucky few who had no bugs at launch and I was still very disappointed with the whole package. It still majorly lacks so much depth and complexity that other more successful open world games had at its time and well before it. Night city is big and pretty, but aside from some side quest missions that are VERY linear and events where you can go and complete in literal seconds (shoot these gang members), there’s nothing to do. The role playing, player body customization and world reaction to it, and depth and life to the city is still so far behind what was promised and bragged about by the devs for years. There’s no factions you can join, most of the open world is go here shoot these guys with a pat on the back when done. The clothes are still pretty meh. There’s no consequences for modding yourself, no cyber psychosis, no physical indication you’re more steel than flesh, no world reaction to the fact that you are modded out. No reputation system aka the world doesn’t care that you’ve wiped out thousands of gang members. No joinable factions. I always wanted to be this Swol psychopathic V with mantis arms that everyone feared but the role playing and customization truly wouldn’t allow it. The weapon customization was and still is pretty shallow (why is there one lmg and why was it so weak compared to everything else) It’s a decent open world game with a cool setting, but it lacks so much and the tone of the story majorly conflicts with the nature of the open world setting. Your brain is melting but you got time to bang night city’s singular hooker and street race? The whole thing is conflicted game design: Gorgeous open world but shallow Lots of guns but not much can be done to them Lots of talk about reputation but no reputation system Lots of RPG elements that are teased in the advertising and ingame itself but the game is linear. Cyberpunk to this day will always be the biggest let down I’ve ever experienced in my 20 years of gaming.

9:37 the in-game advertisements and the television in general are really awesome. So much interesting worldbuilding in just the television shows, and the way that they report on incidents happening throughout the playthrough that V had a part of is really cool and adds to that feeling of immersion. I would stop and watch television in the elevators until the segments would end, I'd stop by the apartments and watch some of the programs like one of my favorites Mr. Puggins for a while, and there's still a ton of stuff I haven't found.

People don't want to hear it because most jumped on the hate train immediately, many without even playing it first, but Cyberpunk was always a good game on Series X, PS5, and PC. But the thing that got me salty was a main story quest towards the very end that completely broke my game. I was maybe only hours from completion and it broke, patches didn't fix it for months upon months. Eventually, I gave it up and moved on. Now as it starts coming back into the spotlight I am curious once more. I think I will get back to it. BUT, only after I finish my GTA5 single player modded playthrough, because that has me hooked right now. Thanks for sharing Matty, always love to hear your opinion!

Always sad to hear trashing cyberpunk 2 years after the release or so. Most of the people trashing it either played it on release on a ps4 or xbone and not on PC. Ofc not excusing the bad release, but also just want to move forward and enjoy what is truly an amazing open world experience. Played the game upon release and loved it. I've been waiting for another jumping in point and can't decide if its now or when the new expansion comes out.

I hope we get more gigs that are longer with better level design and multiple objectives. The three news gigs they added this patch is a move in the right direction and better quality than most of gigs in the base game. They also adding vehicle combat and revamp police which will allow for more interesting gigs. I have high hope for expansion, CDPR is clearing getting better at making this game.

Only apartment I need is Judy’s apartment lmao. I have a habit of going back there every time before I’m done playing for the day. Definitely want more side quests for Judy and hopefully a romance overhaul where you can take whoever you picked in your playthrough out on dates or just random activities together.

they removed most of the legendary clothing items from vendors now.. not sure why, maybe with transmog system they wanted to make it a bit more difficult to find legendary gear

I think it's a good change. There are way too many stat boosts. Gear, cyberware, mods, perks, skills, etc. You can boost your stats through the roof to become an unkillable God by time your only half way to max level and on hardest difficulty. A lot of drops were just trash to break down or sell anyways. So at least now there's something decent to possibly get.

@@brennanIX yeah I’m in agreement for sure.. i kinda liked having to weigh the decision between style or stats, but now with the transmog system u can have maxed out stats at all times with no consequence, so I do like them making it a bit harder to acquire the top notch legendary gear
