Super interesting video, really enjoyed it. I wonder, have you ever watched the fry developing within the eggs, up close, to see what they look like before hatching? Very intriguing video, seeing it all up close.

Hey Mark. Just wondering whether you have considered Summer Tubbin'. Is it possible in South Wales? Jon
@MARKSAQUATICS5 жыл бұрын
It's not really possible here in the UK as temperature fluctuation is all over the place.

Excellent video Mark. Question Could you do a video on how you raise bbs to adults? Also suggestions after the video you could have a summary of the breeding process with temp ph and other parameters etc. Thx mate.

Thanks again for the great footage, Mark! I plan to buy about 7 of these for my community tank. Do you think they go well with green neon tetras, corydoras and honey gouramis? And which heater would you recommend for a 12 liter aquarium?
@MARKSAQUATICS5 жыл бұрын
Yes they will get on fine. 100w heater will good. 😀👍

@@MARKSAQUATICS Alright, I will buy the Fluval E 50W version, since the 100W version would be too large for this tiny tank.

Mark, your videos are truly an education! Have you ever tried to spawn hatchetfish?

Will you leave the sponge filter running for the week will the beneficial bacteria die with only eggs in the tank?
@MARKSAQUATICS5 жыл бұрын
Yes I'll leave it running slow. Some of the bacteria will die off but will soon re colonize as I start adding food again.
@liamodonohoe5 жыл бұрын
OK thanks Mark I was worried about killing the cycle on the filter with just eggs in the tank
