Delta does have weapon wielding, at least currently (this round may be old). You can one hand most things iirc it's just really inaccurate. We also don't have barotrauma nerf so the people without suits were just suicidal. RPG is the goat I've seen it wipe entire nukie teams when used right

Been playing on Delta V for a couple of weeks now - I think you'd enjoy it. the MRP would likely appeal, and there's a good mix of people, plus things like "you cannot nuke evac" mean people are less like to just make everyone miserable. That said, rounds can get VERY long, and not every round goes off without personality conflicts.

One thing I like about DeltaV is that all the heads start in the conference room. Just a small touch but it means you will actually see all the heads together at least once

A few things to help with orientation: - That strange psychic power you saw, Telegnostic Projection, is essentially an at-will "ghost vision". Your character will be SSD'd while using it but it can allow you to safely see across the station. It's invisible to people not wearing physic-nullifying gear. - Most species are based from Einstein's Engines, as it stands, many of them still bleed normal blood. - I'm not sure about the specifics for this scenario, but DV still has Space Pens which grant pressure immunity - that's an easy way to get around when you don't have a hardsuit.

So a few things. 1) I was in this round. I rolled thief. Got promoted to MG 2) Borrowed Caps spare ID, copied it with agent ID. Tucked it back in my storage implant, put the spare back. I should not on Delta, we have a spare ID cabinent for the captain that goes in the vault/bridge of most maps. So that people who steal the locker just dont have immediate AA 3) The moment nukies are confirmed i immediately Emag all the lathes i can for the crew. A not on that is on Delta we have split the emag into two items. The 4tc Emag. Works on devices not doors, and the 6tc Airlock Access Override, which works on doors not devices. 4) As i was headed for the evac area to make a run for it as i had pacifist and coulsnt fight back. The 4th nukie, the moth, stabbed me with an esword and crit me. After which they threw an artifact at a salvager. And it healed me. Meaning i got to run fir my life and survive. Overall. It was a fun round. But damn it eas chaotic

As someone who plays a lot of DeltaV, these nukies were a little bit worse than I usually see. There tends to be bad nukie rounds like this when there's 1 or 2 newkies but this was pretty bad, looks like most of them were new(ish). Psionics rarely effect nukies or even rounds themselves, the only thing that can change nukies comparatively to wizden is the different racial bonuses/debuffs with the 3 or so custom races

Just some clarifications, bc i play dv a lot A) The wielding change is in dv (5:07 Agent Sierra wielding a laser rifle) and im pretty sure the kammerer isnt intended to be shot one handed, just some bugs from this station being mapped with DV kammerers instead of wizden kammerers (difference being dv is a 2x4 in a bag and has no wielding sprite) B) The barotrauma nerf was reverted on dv (im honestly not sure why it was added on wizden so no extra notes) C) The RPG can one shot nukies, though you only get one or two shots from it (depends on station), and the explosion is not that large, but it blew up the ammo in the chinalake and the bombs in the chest rig D) Also warops isnt in dv

As Operative Blizzard in this round, I was by the wall and could not move for some reason without the jetback having to be on, my teammate placed down a minibomb of all things and me being unable to move away from some reason, I just accepted my fate. Was super pissed by this when it happened.

i can confirm that the station nuke (at least on wizden) seems to be bugged. i was nukie once and the station nuke just wouldn't activate even tough i wrote down the nuke code.when i later died the other ghosts told me that the station nuke just doesn't work for nukies.

Because the station nuke is a nanotrasen nuke and requires different codes from the nukie one. They are completely different from each other and if you see a nukie team use a station nuke it’s because an admin gave the codes out.

In delta v, overall stun is king, and players are overall worse at combat than wisden. The little projection you saw is a psi power, it just lets them scout areas like a ghost, minus the light

nukies are very rare on delta. hell, half the time the game mode isn't even "secret," just "survival" or even "extended" the majority of players have very little combat experience.

Admittedly Delta-V servers have a over sensitivities problem where you get callout by admin if you are in any way shape or form not super mundane,stale, any way that stays from you being a good boi. So as a result people are kinda playing animal farm + some rando nukies and zombies if ever, rarely. Shame played a lot on the server has powerful potential overly strict admins keep killing it. As a result u see things like this where people are afraid to be creative or smart. and just do linear things. Hope I clarified for you. P.S. I play a lot on that server so I know a lot of their roles are whitelsited too (capitan,warden,security captian, any leadership role)

in my personal experience, I've been able to get away with things such as faxing unique scam pages to other crewmates on the station and having a war with another reporter (posting diss articles) i think there's room for fun as long as you aren't. yknow. a dick
