Shoutout to Router for showing me this on Mining Station 14, That's how I first discovered about this. Only problem is that I dont remember my emote placements, so I would do the wrong emote constantly and look like a insane person. I wish there was a emote wheel or something, so I didnt have to press a button.

You can even send two messages at the same time by appending the emote shorthand to your chat message: If you type "hello o7" It will turn into: Urist McHands says, "Hello" Urist McHands salutes

It's a life saver because it not only makes your sentences more lively, but just erasing adding lol to the end of your messages is a near impossible task

Oh yea this is super useful, if you type lol at the start of a message and you can laugh and respond at the same time. I didn't know about the o7 emote!

Nice video. Can you do one on fixing plasma flooding? Been seeing a lot of plasma floods lately and people dont know how to deal with it so the shift ends.

Fast way: Space distro. Pump all contents into space, then refill with air. This shouldnt cause issues. Do this if the plasma is hot, as it will have heated up all of distro. Make sure to turn off the feed first. Slow (but still fast-ish) way: Filter plasma out of distro. Overlay a few filters on the distro loop and pump all the plasma into waste or space. Wont work if there's a plasma burn in the pipes as the pressure will be massive. If it's just plasma at 20c it should be fine though.

yeah, if you screw up the very specific way of writing things in this file, launcher will crash upon attempting to connect to any server. Learned about that the same way you did. Here is an example of correctly described command (note "-" that opens the first line and two " " that open each consequent line): - mod1: Control key: O type: Command function: me raises an eyebrow When I corrected my mistakes, I regained the ability to play and now can enjoy using emotes in convenient way.

Technically yes, the keybinds folder contains all the keybinds in the game, including those set up in-game. However, you can't set specific actions like PDA light stuff, but you can set keybinds for certain numbers [I usually have 1 bound to a specific advanced mouse press and 1 is always filled with combat mode], and you can thus consistently set certain slots to certain actions. For instance, you can set 2 to ctrl-z or something and just always have your PDA light in 2. It's not a great solution, but it does sort of work.
