It’s hilarious to me that so many people in the op community (especially on Twitter) are genuinely dumb enough to think that the 12 shown in the final page are the 12 strongest in the verse and that mihawk being left off the page says something about his strength or lack there of. How’s it even possible to read this chapter and come to the conclusion that oda chose the people on that page based on powerscaling 🤦🏾‍♂️ Obviously mihawk isn’t as “important” those characters because he doesn’t care about the one piece like the yonkos and he isn’t the current or future face of one of the major powers like dragon, Sabo, Coby, and akainu. But thinking that Mihawk or any other character being left off that page means that they aren’t as strong as the ones included on the page shows the reading comprehension disease that many op fans suffer from 💀 “oogaa boogaa powerscaling” 🤦🏾‍♂️

Because of Vegapunk now every faction in the story is gonna focus on One Piece and one thing that I remember ODA saying in his jumpfesta message is that something like a battle royale is gonna happen, which we all thought that he was referring to the incidents going side by side with egghead but seems like oda has more going into it and was probably referring to the actions taken by every faction from now on

Possible, but it's directly followed by King, a Lunarian, which is who he was talking about in that panel. We've already had this flashback in Wano, when referencing the Lunarians. It seems more like Oda is trying to both visually and narratively connect the different races, while reminding us that the place where the Lunarians lived is somehow relevant to this moment. I just think using whitebeard to make a callback to Lunarian history wouldn't make much sense if the point is to connect him to the buckaneers. Especially considering the entire point of that part of the speech is to say how these different races where prosecuted and disenfranchised, while whitebeard never was.

Morj, I completely disagree with your take on Yonko and Buggy. Yes, Yonko should be stronger, but it's part of quality, not the entire thing. To become Yonko, the most important thing is their influence and trust of their crew. In terms of that, Buggy is way better than Mihawk not even close. Buggy = influence Crocodile = strategy Mihawk = powerhouse Respect the goat ❤

It really feels like Kuma will die by the end of this arc. Which raises the question of who will get his devil fruit and how that power playes in to the end of the story. There really feels like there is no way that it wont be relevant. The power has been highlighted so much, there is a need for fast and widespread travel in the final arc, and Oda have made it so Kuma will die amongst the strawhats. So if Oda really have a plan for the fruit, it really is fascinating to consider the limits of the fruit and using that to predict who will get it and how it will be used. It is established that it can not send people over the red line, and it can only send people to places where the user have been before. This means that who ever gets the fruit must be a person that has traveled a lot, and probably have been to a lot of the places the strawhats have been, since those are the places that will most likely get focused on in the final arcs. That fact really speaks in favor of one of the strawhats getting the fruit. The red line crashing issue either means two things. The fruit will only be used to send people around within the new world, or the power will need to be used on a place that is high enough to shoot people over the red line, which could quite possibly be the case with the Adam tree, since it will have parallels to Yggdrasil, which in the myths are so tall and wide that it covers the sky. Im calling it right now that Lilleth will infuse Kumas fruit into Usopps weapon and they will shoot people around the world from on top of the Adam tree to gather allies and spread info before the final war.

Bonny is such a horrible/sloppy written character her entire existence seems to be duece ex machina. Her powers basically ret-con the story (df GIVES people haki now wtf??) she is FREAKING 12 fighting va sailing on the grandline PRE TIME SKIP. Also how does she onow so much about the world how does she know how to read or fight she just automatically knew how to do these things. If the "strongest fisherman" who couldnt stop king bakori is supposed to be able to transverse the grandline then luffy and crew shouldn't have had such a difficult time doing so also all the emphasis on how hard shit was pre timeskip completely retcon 9f some freaking 12 year old who lived in a one room shack her whole life suddenly becomes a supernova. Oda already admitted the supernova were a last minute addition and bonny proves that if oda keeps going with this nonsense its going to be like G.O.T ending and gues who arya stark is.(Btw i loved arya but her killing the nightking was just a bow on the "i fucked this series up" present). The 50 ft jump from a non-existent cliff like wtf. Also the gear 5th bonny shit is the most stupid oda has been so far.
