Nice. I remember when they were building that. I was next door at the Roxanne. They even came and covered our cars in front so debris wouldn’t get on it. I’m with you so that’s why I get the open rooms with the beds where the ocean front is. Thanks for showing this one.

We are snowbirds and stay at Sandy Beach Resort January and February. We walked up the beach daily and enjoyed watching construction on this building. The floors were concrete poured on a huge metal sheet that a crane put in place for a form. Awesome!

We own here and absolutely love it! We always book an ocean front room and it’s not far at all from elevators. The 1-bedroom suites are very spacious (around 850 sqft). Full kitchen, frig has filtered water dispenser and ice maker. Coffee maker & toaster. The bathroom sliding door does lock, its spring loaded latch on the inside of door. They do have a bar with light bites, but you are very close to great places to eat. Some small cons are they don’t have a restaurant and I just wish they had a spa. Still love staying here for the views and location.

In Nashville we had a barn door in the bathroom. I agree, hated it. Lol! What were they thinking? Planning our 1st visit to myrtle beach. Can’t wait!

My friend and I stayed at the Dunes Resort Hotel. We really liked it. Didn't have the laundry pair, but had kitchen appliances.

We loved our stay here. I would venture to say its probably only one of a few 5 star-ish hotels in the area. It was nice being able to get on the boardwalk right at the hotel and walk to places such as events at old Pavilion site. Also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It is a Vacation Club so yes it does have timeshare tours going on but they never hassled us about going through a preview presentation. The sales center is located across the street so you would never know it has timeshares until you see people going through on a tour. It seems that what rooms are not used as timeshare they book them as hotel rooms.

Might have to look into this one one for myv3rd trip..I'm going back for the second time in May and I am staying at Coral Beach which I stayed at on my first trip down because I liked the bowling alley and atmosphere it had. But this one is def tech savvy and I wouldn't mind staying in am updated one

I stayed at Anderson thru Hilton last time and disappointed in that old hotel. Was able to get a Thanksgiving reserved for this hotel and so excited to get a beach front room this time. The location of this resort is at the perfect spot. If only there was a grocery store close but maybe just use a delivery service for this trip.

I like these videos!.....I'm looking for a new place to stay in Myrtle....I started off with Dunes Village, but that was when my son was younger and the place is getting a bit dated.....I then moved on to North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle....now I'm looking to stay elsewhere.....I thought this was the winner until you showed the pools....I need more pools....I can see them getting real crowded in the summer.....I am leaning towards the Marriot at the Grand Dunes....have you been?

My family stays at the Villas at the Grand Dunes. I think its a better setup than here as all the ocean view villa bedrooms have ocean views with the balcony between the rooms. The parking garage is also on the premises.

The pools here aren’t that busy in the summer from what I have heard. Most people spend their hours on the beach.

I love the feature of the AC turning off if the balcony door is open. That cuts down on mold.

They do have breakfast here at the hotel, but you have to pay for it.

If you don't like the pull out Couch...just take your blanket and pillow and Sleep on the Balcony..it will be the BEST SLEEP you EVER had...

Nice, but we love to stay out late, therefore we will not park a block away and walk to the hotel. After viewing the video in it’s entirety-I too, do not like the bathroom door not being able to lock, nor the setup with the “Oceanfront” rooms being that far away from the “front.” I love hearing the sound of the ocean, with the balcony door open. Thank you for your informative video.

Looks pretty nice. I've only stayed in a hotel once in Myrtle Beach and hated it. Was on the 13th floor and the elevator stopped on every floor going down. Took forever. I hate those bathroom doors also. The new Hyatt Regency in Evansville Indiana has them too and it makes you feel like you really don't have a door.

It is a gorgeous Resort, one of the prettiest in this area but my issue is the way it's designed on the Ocean Side. Most people are not getting a TRUE Oceanfront view because of that half-wall that's blocking them from seeing the Northside. the only people getting true Oceanfront views is the people that are in that little small section that juts out in front of the rest of the building. That's wack.

It's a vacation club so it's actually already a timeshare. The rooms that do not book through the timeshare side of the house they will book as hotel rooms. When I stayed they nevered asked about going through a sales presentation so that was good.

Awesome video! Hotel looks nice! We go to North Myrtle Beach every year and stay at Ocean Creek. We could stay other places but we just have always stayed at Ocean Creek. It’s quiet and tranquil. And Beach Cove is a sister resort of theirs. I like getting brochures of things at the office because I like to read about all Myrtle Beach has to offer. Of course you can look it up online to see if you wanna do it, but I like to get brochures as a free souvenir for nostalgic purposes. Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!

Not sure if that was my doing, but to be clear, I am not endorsing this hotel for any reason other than sharing my experience. I don’t get anything from Hilton for showing this room and I paid for it with my own money. If it is sold out then I think people are just ready for warmer weather. 😁

It feels like home, with a great view on the beach... Great location 2.3 miles from Broadway at beach, 0.5 miles from the Bowery and right on the Boardwalk... 2 pools, 2 hot tubs ...perfect!!!!!

Yeah, why? We have stayed here since 2019 sometimes multiple times... per year, staff are awesome, rooms are always clean, amenities are perfect and it is close to everything. I became gold Hilton member by coming here. If you had an issue, definitely reach out to Hilton Resort or Hilton Corporate to resolve issue... I have never had a bad experience here.
