Maybe some of your success is because of your week off the bike prior to your effort? Awesome job on the ride, Dirty. Amen! you could have easily chosen to not reply about your faith but great job on choosing the potentially less popular route and doing it anyways. In our busy lives sometimes its hard to see God in the things we do but when I'm in the mountains, on a bike ride, etc. I can't help but be thankful. Loved this video. I’ve thruhiked the CT and would love to ride it in the next few years. It’s a beast though. I appreciate all your insights. Especially your mentioning appreciation for segment 3. I live close and ride Buffalo Creek all the time. The segments from Waterton to Kenosha are usually overlooked because so much of the trail is higher and more scenic. But it’s “home” to me so it’s good to hear the love. Great work!

Thanks for all the videos. I love your attitude and approach. Re bears and food. I take a few meters of thin climbing rope or sailing rope and attach to a dry bag and throw it over a tree branch. No weight for the thin rope and i already take the dry bag for food. On CT plenty of trees for most stops. AZT different story in some parts. Not necessary in Kyrgzstan but having ridden in Kenya as well employed the same.

I’d say so… it definitely helped increase my lung capacity and allow me to take deeper, fuller breaths
