It could have been better back then if Mitsubishi improved it back then like this: -3.8L V6 to be DOHC, with Variable Valve Timing and 300 HP.....and can make do with regular (instead of the old SOHC V6 with just 228 hp but runs on premium) -make it 6spd auto (and not the old 4spd tranny) -make it 7-seater so it could have competed with the Highlander, Pathfinder, Pilot, Tribeca, Santa Fe, Sorento, Flex, Journey and Traverse
