I don't like how anytime someone tries to give criticism to a gacha game then someone in the call is like "well that's just gacha thats just gacha thats just gacha". It's a really boring to hear as a listener of the podcast as it brings no interesting convo cos I feel like it's always the same answer. I realize the conversation to be had wouldn't really lead to any in game changes but I'd at least like to hear something interesting, and not these people having Stockholm Syndrome with these games and gloating about it.

But often the criticism just contradict the nature of gacha game, its similar if for example you complain about there being other player in multiplayer only games. You said yourself that the conversation wouldn’t lead to any game change so most people wouldn’t bother with that conversation

@@dittoford I'm still interested in hearing how people who play these games 24/7 would fix the predatory systems though. Or like when someone is presents another gacha game that does it in a better way it's interesting to me. It can kinda be hard to listen to it when it feels like the same points are being reiterated every time. Nothing else they are saying is going to lead to in game changes either so I don't think it's that big of a deal. IDK maybe I'm just a tourist cos I'm coming from fps which have lots of convo about pricing and such in online spaces.

Thats competition baby. People have always wanted a game to compete with Genshin and thats Wuwa. Because Competition will make any game better. Now we need another Turn Based Gacha to pop off to compete against HSR.
