This installation video does not show the proper way to install a main drain. Installing main drains is not required, however, if main drains are installed, they must be installed in accordance with “Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act”.

* Please check with local codes to determine exact requirements on grounding and bonding specs specifications for your pool”
* Please hire a licensed electrician for all electrical wiring, found and bonding needs.
* Please note some codes require bonding your pool water via the skimmer as well”
* Salt Systems may in some cases cause surface corrosion on steel wall pools
* Please check with local codes to determine if safety fencing is required.
Note: Swimming Pool Kits that have an Aqua Genie skimmer system made by Hydra Pools do not require main drains. Please check your local sate/county/city regulations for details to make certain.

For 42 inch pool walls do you go down 44 in to accommodate the 2-in coping

Hi! Once you pour the concrete on the bottom and up to the steps, do you run the plumbing on top of that concrete? Also do you just pour the dirt back into the remaining open part after the concrete dries up?
