Basically, it's a hacker puzzle, they vary in difficulty as well.

CTF is actually a real thing and pretty dope. The goal is to "capture" as many "flags" in the form of bitstrings locked in a shared server by hacking into it. Different flags are hidden with varying difficulty. Everything is allowed, and the team with the most strings discovered wins!

Not everything is allowed, Some ctfs are held over the internet. So ddos,dos is out of the question 90% of the time. Even ones that are held locally still don’t allow flooding of data unless it’s like a buffer overflow

I love how Eliot wins the hacking torunament not by typing extremely fast like how a usual sterotypical hacker god would, but by simply being 10 times more aware of the situation and all options than the other hackers, he barely even uses time or energy in the scene to do the hack. El campo de la seguridad requiere el mayor conocimiento de todas áreas de la tecnología como redes, lenguajes de programación, dispositivos electrónicos, estructura de aplicaciones, páginas web etc. Hay que aprender un poco de todo para poder lograr el éxito en ese campo.
