I love how the extras in the room also react to their conversation. I've always found it unrealistic when the main characters in a show interact but anything unrelated is just background.

@NightMotorcyclist2 жыл бұрын
When I worked background for various scenes in Seasons 1 to 3 the principal actors interacted with us quite a bit when we had long-ish breaks especially when we shot overnight. The directors also insisted on it in quite a few instances while keeping Rami and Christian in character which was fun. After we wrapped for the day a few occasions Christian Slater would be casually speaking to background while walking back to our holding and his main trailer. Some of these shoots went on for 10+ hours to get the atmosphere right so sometimes we'd have to wait for the sun to go down to shoot the next scene. Fun times and I do miss working on the show now that it's over. I loved the fact that nearly everything was shot in NYC/ on location as I recognized everything in the show, especially the Micro Center and Elliot's apartment (I pass by it on my way to my regular job now).

This show has sooooo many subtle clues, hidden details, and Easter eggs. In the beginning, he tells his subordinate not to speak his native language, and that practice makes perfect. Now if you notice his accent, he has a near perfect English accent, appropriate grammar, and superb syntax. This shows just how much of a perfectionist he is. He makes sure everything is done how, when, and where he wants it. He’s the type of guy you really need to ask how high, how far, and how many times when he says JUMP!

He was originally speaking Mandarin but was told to speak English and had an accent speaking it (it was even implied if you have the subtitles on). The kung flu was a opportunity to create a greater gap between them and us, plus they knew it was coming, no one can give a good explanation why so much land was purchased out in the New Zealand country side and other secluded places by anonymous buyers and high tech houses were built so quickly on the land, just a coincidence I guess, a country that is a island with earthquakes surrounded by ocean, I must be dumb but isn't the sea level not supposed to rise and kill us all because of global warming, sounds like a good investment buying land on a earthquake island surrounded by the Pacific ocean.
