I got to see Novella at a church in OKC back in 92 when they opened for Whitecross on their In The Kingdom tour. I was 17 at the time. Loved their sound then and love it more now. Wish I could see them live again even though I know they're no longer together.

Was gonna audition for guitarist spot in this band before vid was released. My wife said 'if u submit a tape, youll get the gig and be gone on the road all the time', so i didnt send it in. Later in life did guest solos on 3 albums and appeared on compilation album w members of Motley Crue, Cinderella.

Saw Novella show up late for slot on one stage at Atl. Fest. in 92(3) at Six Flags and was told No by stage mgr. my friend since 88.I pleaded with him into giving them some time,They drove all night. They got 15 minutes. Being head of Security that day had its perks back then but David did it out of his heart too. They Rocked good that day for a minute.
