Mrs Coulter being soft to Lyra (SEASON ONE)

A much needed compilation of Mrs Coulter being soft (and protective) to Lyra [SEASON ONE, His Dark Materials]. She really does love her though.
Now, this edit was a long and very frustrating time in the making...this is my 42nd version/upload to YT because they kept taking it down. I therefore had to keep cutting it (no clip is longer than 3 seconds, hence why it's so jarring), and I had to remove a few lines, and make some tiny adjustments. It was originally over 17 minutes long, but at least all the scenes are still there.
I had to persevere for my faves! I'll make a Season 2 version as well. Hopefully I'll have more luck with that one.

I wonder why her daemon started to pet Pan; from what I’ve seen and read her daemon is usually very mean and downright evil even to Lyra who is the daughter of Mrs. Coulter. Why would he pet Pan like that? Maybe they’re more connected than is perceived (since I think it was said that they were separated) if he can show a bit of affection to Lyra’s daemon, in a way it’s like his son, though it could be a power move, but it looks too gentle to be so. Though he did look and sound just as worried as her when Lyra ran away.

I think that just because the two aren’t linked, they once were, meaning no matter if their bond was sliced they still are connected in the sense of them once being one. Even if you separate a one into a two, they were once a whole.

That's what it is. The Monkey and Mrs Coulter are one and the same. But because she is quite unhinged she is often at odds with herself. But sometimes they feel the same. That was just a moment where they both felt affection for Lyra and essentially Pan aswell because Pan is Lyra technically. They are not separated. They are still the same person. Just two sides of the same coin. The theory is that mrs Coulter went through a similar magic technique that young witches do. So her daemon can travel away from her. She never got sliced. The adults that get that done are quite lifeless and well they survived unlike kids but are basically lomotomised

@@transvestosaurus878 You're welcome 🤗 (if you're not being sarcastic? 🙈🤣😙) And yeah, it was nothing short of a nightmare when I came across this channel and comment section 💀😏😧 It always baffles me how some Fans/viewers sometimes get blindsided by a character's visuals, acting or on-screen presence that it clouds their judgment and they start justifying their actions/overlook their deeds. And sadly, it happens a lot; and the excuse is that "Oh, it's just fiction/fictional characters, don't take it seriously - let people do or say whatever they want!" 😏🗿💀 As if freedom of expression or rights as a viewer means, "It is okay to root for abusive parents, psychopaths, rapists/serial killers, or Villains" 🙄😤 I mean, there is a thin line between fiction and reality that people shouldn't cross! P. S. I didn't get what you mean about li'l red fruit 😆🙈
