@@carultch while the joke of it was meant to seem like that, his brother doesn't think that at all. Whay gives it away is when Daniel said "I'd knew you'd understand." They're brothers, while not twins they have a special tie to each other regardless and Frank knew well enough what his brother was up to. Otherwise if he did think that and Daniel got caught, he'd feel so betrayed. The kid show scene also gave it away that it's a bait and switch, because after Daniel got caught he as Mrs. Doubtfire announced him as a guest on the kid show.

Honestly, no celebrity death affected me like Robin's. When I heard the likes of Bernie Mac, James Doohan, Isaac Hayes, Paul Walker and Michael Clarke Duncan (amongst way too many others in recent years) it was like "Crap! Not him, too. That sucks." When Robin passed, it was more like "Nobody talk to me for the rest of the week."

A lot of movies now try to rehash a lot of it because people really do forget. Kids now seem to lack passion so teachers really do have a big job to do these days. Trying to teach someone something they care nothing about has to be hard. But i think a lot of it starts at home. If their parents dont care or show interest in anything neither will the kids. I love gaining knowledge and hopefully my kids will follow but thats on me before its on the teachers. A lot of adults probably wouldn't get the bay of pigs reference these days

He's not crossing his eyes when he sings, he's defocusing his eyes so he doesn't look directly into the camera lens. Even when actors deliver lines into the camera, they look slightly off the side or slightly behind the camera so they don't look directly into it, since it would look weird for the audience.

It's pretty amazing how perfectly they were able to integrate Robin Williams' style of comedy into this role. It would be off-putting if he was making all these jokes if he was just a normal guy around normal people, but the fact that he's an entertainer around entertainment people lets you believe that this is how they would actually act around each other in real life, and it's hilarious.

@@ndaulinendaulina5715 it was likely improvised, which is why you don’t have a shot of Robin’s reaction, in fact most of the makeup chair “characters” have one long single camera shots, because they were just riffing off the costumes and they took the best ones. Would love to see the gag reel on this scene. True comedic improv genius at work.

What makes this such a masterpiece for me was how easy Robin Williams changes characters from JUST putting on a wig, some make-up, eye liner.~ Robin Williams BEST piece as an actor in MY OPINION is that of a parent.~ Who just HAD a to be with his children.~ That is PRICELESS.

Harvey is no Robin Williams but I like him. I've seen him in this and voiced Yao in Mulan. In fact, this December he is reprising his Tony winning performance as Edna Turnblad in NBC's Hairspray Live. He's also writing the teleplay.
