I think it would be a bit darker if you cut the audio of the peeing and not shown that, but still keep the kid's reaction and Doubtfire turning as if the "nanny" just got caught murdering the person from the last scene.

This is really well done and the music makes it even scarier. Williams showed he could play it straight and scary in later movies, so he would've nailed a horror version of Doubtfire.

I know there's already a Mrs. Doubtfire horror edit trailer out there with millions of views, but this is way more polished. The other one layed out the entire story which made it overly long, but you condensed it and got straight to the horror. You also created a lot of dramatic tension, which is almost completely lacking from the other one. This is a way more effective hook for a Mrs. Doubtfire horror movie than the other edited trailer is.

The book Madame Doubtfire, which is what Mrs.Doubtfire movie is based on. Feels kinda like a horror story, because it does end with the kids hating both their parents at the end of the book. Whereas in the movie this is never mentioned.

This would have worked as a horror movie think about it already has a creepy vibe to it but was downplayed by making it light hearted it would have made a great dark horror movie about a stalker father who was also a serial killer
