Made me chuckle! The couple that Joan was done with look familiar- I think the husband played the monsignor in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? and the actress playing his wife was Mrs. Howell on Gilligan's Island.

..yup, one of my favorite Joan Crawford movies. She, her character, was best before she "gives in" to Jeff Chandler. Her comments were so direct and sophistically empowered (against him). She also looks good in her clothing of the era. The assault scene w/her dress top being torn away provides audience wide eyed focus on Joans response (but in my view, the kiss following was....hash). No one was like Joan.

Love the compilation but it's missing my favorite line - before Joan throws that martini in Jeff Chandler's face she barks, "I wouldn't have you if you were hung with diamonds upside down" - I've never been quite able to visualize her metaphor but it does sound dirty (Jeff hanging naked upside down from a crystal chandelier?)
