Yeah fr. Ik he got injured but idk why people are acting like he tore his ACL or separated his shoulder, all he did was get a concussion which 1. It wasn't even his fault. Del Rio is the one who kicked him in the back of the head and dolph couldn't protect himself (del rio would also temporarily ended christian's career with a similar kick a year later) 2. That injury only took him out for a few weeks, which shouldn't have been enough to permanently remove him from the main event title scene. Not to mention del rio got rewarded for injuring him with another mid title reign😂

@elconcaro8031 Yeah I knew that was how vince ran things. if you got injured right at the height of your push. Unless you were a favorite, it'd take forever to get back to the top like you said. It's the reason why guys like samoa joe and wade barrett never became world champions or finn balor never getting another world title reign either like you mentioned. Becky is an outlier tho she got concussed (same as dolph) near her height of popularity, and it actually propelled her momentum instead of stalling cuz of her bloody face. I agree I hope triple h does things differently and is more understanding with injuries

The wcw guys not coming over had nothing to do with creative control, they were under contract to Warner directly, so WWE didn’t actually absorb those contracts in the purchase. So it was either come work for WWE for less money and more dates, or sit at home until your contract runs out and collect ridiculous easy money. So the nWo guys and Goldberg eventually made their way over to WWE but it was after their contracts ran out. You should listen to Eric Bischoff’s podcast he provides alot of insight into it.
