Your hair is gorgeous!! My hair type is very similar to yours and I often wear twists, but I need to get better at sectioning and detangling my hair. I’m so glad I’ve found your channel and I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos. You have a new subscriber!! 🙌🏾

Your hair is beautiful as are you. I recently subscribed to your channel and Love all your advice. The only thing I disagree with pretty much all the natural hair influencers is that my hair does grow better without washing much. Even when I wore Jeri curls with all the products I used with them, I didn't wash my hair but once maybe and wore it for 2 and a half months or longer before getting re-done. Even when I used to wear braids with synthetic hair I didn't wash it and in both cases my hair grew like crazy. Now if my scalp started itching a lot or I could smell my hair I washed it. My hair was healthy when I first went natural then I had a set back watching KZbin trying everything they said to make hair grow and I was spending too much money on products that didn't work and caused my scalp to become very sensitive and hair was coming out like IDK what. I got a hold of myself and started doing me using only a few products including Blue Magic hair grease and my hair slowly getting back healthy and I still don't was it much. I think either dirt really does grow my hair or just leaving it alone is what makes it grow. For me anyway. I also use the castor oil and BJCO on my edges and you are right it makes them grow back. Tyler so much for the advice you give and for being a genuine Christian.

Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Simplicity is definitely key when caring for our natural hair. We don't need so many products - just the essential: shampoo, conditioner, oil, leave-in (if prefer), hair butter or cream. I'm glad your hair is getting back on track. I pray it will continue to flourish. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

@@MrsCharityUmarYour twists look so nice. Thank you for the hair product tips. I am going to try to twist my hair without gel.

These are good points. I wash my my hair in two strand twists and low manipulation hairstyles and wash my hair onceva month or sometimes close to two months if my hair is not itching. I have similar hair experiences too with using a lot of hair products. I want to twist my hair without gel for softer twists and less shrinkage.

When you borrow hair you might break your hair when taking it down. I like loose twists cause I have fine natural hair I dont have a lot of volume yet by the grace of God I will get there.

Sibongile Ndlovu I am glad to know that the video is helpful! I have been natural my whole life, but I begun a healthy hair journey about 10+ years ago. Before then, my hair was stagnant at the same length for years! But when I started a healthy hair journey, my hair took a progressive turn towards overall improvement and increased in length.
