Ya those looks can for sure make it look flimsy and pathetic, we also agree that you can train grip strength in a lot of ways. The structure is actually quite firm, but with a little give to it so that golfers can do grip strength training specific to the golf swing. Being able to actually take swings with this on the club really trains grip strength in a golf specific way that can help golfers transfer this to the golf swing. Not that we want golfers gripping the club crazy tight, but we find that many amateur golfers lack grip strength necessary to move the club effectively, especially during transition. We've done some cool research showing golfers who trained with this product increased grip strength and were able to increase swing speed as well! Had a lot of great interested in those who were able to get it in their hands at the show!

I love Star Grips. I've been using them for 20 years. I don't use a glove and they feel wonderful. And when he says they last a lifetime he is correct. I have had the same grips on my 3 & 5 wood, 1 iron and 3-PW for 20 yrs and they feel and look the same as when i put them on. The only reason I'm going to change them is because they make green ones now.

I've put a set of those Star Grips on my clubs about 3 years ago. 3 year guarantee. They feel great. Still going strong. Definitely worth a try but you have to order from their website. Also, you can install with air compressor method and no tape. They sell a tool for it.

Lol. It's not a weight vest. It's an EMS trainer. When you put it on, you get it wet first. It uses various levels of electric shock to engage your muscles. There is a very successful chain of gyms called Body20 that use this tech. It's supposed to be equivalent to a 2hr workout in about 20 minutes because it's engaging all the muscles. Supposed to be really good at engaging quick twitch muscle fibers too. This is like the home version of body 20.

Star Grips are nice us made in Arizona, just like Pure Grips. Unlike most other grips that are made in china. A lot of the other products seem like snake oil, but interesting to see.

Swing speed attachment looks like a pool noodle for$50. The title of this video should be named ten things not to waste your money on. These companies tend to forget and take advantage of the average weekend golfer. No way would I buy any of that expensive crap.😂 They make these designs as if we plan on going pro in the next year. We just want to play a better game of golf not go pro- broke.😂

Our goal is to help the weekend warrior out there wanting to play golf better. While it looks like a pool noodle in the video, we have to agree it does, it is actually a semi rigid structure. The reason we came up with the product was because amateur golfers lack grip strength. This leads to potential trouble in transition as the golfer can't generate enough force to hold some positions and can lead to casting of the club and losing the good downswing lag. Traditional ways to train grip strength would be carrying around really really heavy stuff, we liked the idea of something a golfer could do in their own home on their own clubs and get more grip strength to help their game. Conducted research on amateur players, all ages, and found increased grip strength and swing speed as a result of the training. We hope it is something that can help a lot of players improve.
