Awesome video bro. Just a suggestion though: I think it'd be helpful or kind of put into perspective what type of range we need to be oneshotting / mobbing efficiently at the maps you're using, because it seems to range so vastly between classes (particularly phantom) , I believe? I'm pretty sure you go in already super beefed up but I think it'd be a nice indicator for newer players and also a reality check so that they don't just hop onto a class you've done and expect the same results :D For example just putting like a small indicator when you go into the maps like, (Recommended 1.5m~2.3m range) or etc Cheers mate!

The problem is phantom is balanced with Cross surge and final cut in mind, so when you are in a training layout you will he weaker on the same lvl that cross surge and final cut would give you, and that's where with the release of pathfinders you can train with both final cut and cross surge and still get decent rates. Best early game layout is 2nd job pathfinder Cardinal burst, 3rd job dark knight cross surge, 4th job final cut, and hyper skill fire poison. That gets you the highest damage output with actually very little funding required, and also have ace in a hole equipped for the extra kills per min.

I only do weekly bossing on my current 250. The bosses I can clear aren't worth doing that many times unfortunately. Plus no-one aside from my current 250 has gear, so it would have to be a carry, and that's extra not worth.

About the phantoms being in all of the first clears. its not about the late game damage of the class that it usually ends up in first clears but more about the safety with the i-frames. I'm unsure if it has changed recently but phantoms hits per second which would be equivalent to hitting cap compared to other classes is the median amount

Aesthetically pleasing, non-tedious mobbing/bossing, Not a One-trick-wonder, mobility is a plus, surviavability is another plus, but overall, it's gotta be fun to play. (and fun is entirely subjective.)

so just a question while you were putting arrow blaster in the 4th job slot why couldn't you put cross surge in that slot instead, while having arrow blaster in the third slot since it benefits more from dmg? saying this as a phantom main, since you knew about using earlier job skills in later job slots, i would've thought you would know to put cross surge in that slot instead the only case where you wouldn't is if you were using both arrow blaster and some 4th job skill

For most Arrow platter rotations, you're also using a 4th job mobbing skill as well. Mainly I/L's Frozen orb. However, if you have a rotation where you dont need another mobbing skill, and just want the platters, you could do that yes. Arrow platter rotations are really for the Strong strong Phantoms. I was only able to dabble with them. The funding required is out of my league for mules.

There is a toggle skill in your beginner tab that allows you to swap between manual and automatic. It's set to manual by default unfortunately so you need to use it each time you log in.

How come you don’t use final cut for 4th job and arrow platter on 3rd? And also what would you use instead of lucid soul at lach? I would love to use frozen orb but idk what else to use it with and I’m also reboot if that helps

Ease of use mainly, Final cut has a low uptime, so I'd need to keep track of it a lot more than Cross Surge. I was also only really using arrow platter up to 220, in Arcana and beyond, even with final cut, arrow platter wasn't gonna cut it

Spark always, omen really only felt good to use in clp for me. Since they buffed bats to proc 100% of the time, training should be easier than ever. Just test a couple maps and stick to the one you like best. I did most my leveling in clp and lp2

Dual Blade will probably benefit from the new cap more for a while since its much harder to cap as a phantom, but both will stay relatively the same power going forward. Phantom is going to take a lot of funding but every phantom main I talk to says is worth it. They really love the class. Dual blade is obviously going to have growing pains with mobbing compared to phantom, however they have much higher bases on their dmg% Which let them move to higher level maps with less funding. Both are incredible bossers, solo and party play. Phantom being the better of the two for parties due to the support options it can provide. Neither one is a bad pick, go with your gut. Since they're both luck class, if you find you made the wrong choice, you can always transfer the gear to the other!

That is the Lucid soul summon. Any non-magnificent Lucid soul when put on a weapon gives you the skill.

Hi Sacrix, I'm an Illium main. As you said, it's certainly not the best class, but I enjoy a lot playing him! Even tho his mobbing is so good, I still find a bit struggling where to grind after 225, I tested eph everywhere from chicken festival 1 (where I trained from 220-225) to rev3, clp etc. But nothing feels good enough, I always like the optimization you have when grinding, I wonder what's ur thought on grinding as an illium to 250?

Aside from what I've seen of illiums in clp with frenzied spawn, I know nothing about alternate training methods. The class isn't very widely played, so there isn't much to go off until I play it for myself.

That is a lucid soul. You get soul shards from clearing the boss in lach. Or you can get should from the AH during events like marvel machine or philo books.

Job change to I/L. /s For real tho, uh, hard to say. I would need to play it before I could confirm what's best. But small maps seem to be the way to go, since Bishop isn't terrible mobile, nor the best mobber in the game. So smaller maps like Hidden Rearch train / Slurpy / CLP / etc, might be the best bet.

Depends on what skill you are using. Cannon Bazooka is the most forgiving, as its got a really strong base dmg. Showdown being a little under that, then Ice Orb. Arrow platter is by far the weakest, with like sub-100% dmg on the skill. So you need a LOT of funding for Platter farming.

Lucid soul isnt a requirement, it's just a helpful summon to cover less trafficked parts of maps. Or if strong enough, to solo some parts of the map (but that usually requires being a mage, or being quite funded.)

Marvel machine has them in rotation, and when its around, theyre dirt cheap. Or, alternatively, you can clear Easy Lucid with a party / get a normal/hard carry from guildmates for the soul shards.
