To all who thinks German women are just so „easy“: The difference is that Germans don’t just casually date anybody as long as he doesn’t look repulsive at first sight. Dating in Germany is definitely NOT about finding out if you might be interested. If you date someone on a one on one basis, you already know that person (usually) and believe to be interested. It is expected without saying that you are not dating someone else. Casual dating is only done in a context where you know from the start that all that both are looking for is s.x, like tinder dates. I am sure that kind of thing exists in the US, too. However, if you know each other e.g. from your workplace or tennis club and you have seen each other many times in a group of friends and you are genuinely interested in the other person, you will not immediately suggest a date. You will spend a few days, weeks or even months (depending on the situation) showing interest in a subtle way, like smiling at her and hoping she smiles back; talking to her more than the others, if she stays behind stay behind too, etc.. If she obviously likes that you will suggest meeting to do something together, like have a coffee and goblin a walk or something. If she says yes, it is assumed that you are not meeting someone else, there is no „are we exclusive „ talk. You are automatically exclusive. And it is hard to say what your „first date“ was. A sensible woman would never get in your car at night unless she thought she knew you well, so if you go out together in the evening she will get to the place by herself, making sure she is able to get home without you. If you are going together in your car, that means either she is very naive or you are a steady couple.

We told each others that we were attracted to each other, but that she won't cheat on her boyfriend. The moment she broke-up, she told me she broke-up, not "Hello", not "How are you?", just immediatly "I broke-up". We saw each others a few days after this. We spent like just 20 min talking in a bar. She payed the bill, not splited it, she paid for both of us. We then spent 2 hours kissing. I then took her back to her place. She told me she did not have time for sex now, and she told me she will have time [insert a date and a time]. So we saw each others again at [insert the day and the time she said] and had sex at this moment. And that's just one of stories I lived in Germany. Really, that's not jokes. Germans are really so. In Germany girls are smiling, have conversation, know what they want and say it, and paid for me. Back in France girls expected me to find and organize all the activities, to do all the conversation, to pay for them, and to be their psychotherapist. And don't you dare expect a smile from a french girl! And how about emotional support? Don't expect it from a french person, not the women neither the men. French people just do not know what true empathy is. There are a few exeptions among them of course. Trust me or not, even in France I have sex with german girls. I do not want to touch french girls anymore. It becomes unpossible to suffer french women after having known german women. Waiting only until the first date is definitely too soon, but a whole year is just too long. After a year, even someone really serious will lose interest. I sure know I would. Most men have learned from experience that chasing after a woman usually leads nowhere and only wastes their time. First of all: making a date doesn't mean the same thing in Germany as it does in America. In America it's the starting line, in Germany it's the finish line. When I agree to a date I already know that I'm interested, because the actual checking takes place beforehand. In principle I agree to split the bill. If he insists on paying alone, he hasn't messed it up and I know that I definitely want to see him again, I accept it. But I tell him that I'll pay next time. And yes, it may be a cliche, but just going out to eat as a date...well, it's better to do something active outside, get some exercise and eat something at the same time.
