I give this mix credit for adding so much color and flavor to my life since finding it in 2013. When I saw the picture (finding out it's taken in Iceland) and hearing the beats, I swore to myself I'd make my life great- full of adventures around the world. I saw myself in Australia. Iceland. Norway, Maldives, Germany... I just knew I wanted to be like that man in the picture, while listening to this type of music. Music that speaks to my soul! I proudly announce I'm on my way to Australia soon to start my adventures. B)

+mrArchduke Man, Wherever you are, go to sheepy channel and listen to these awesome artists that make music out of passion, and when we listen to it we just understand their feelings while they are composing, adding to that the fact that sheepy puts these songs together with an amazing picture from another artist, sheepy is just an artist on putting these things together!

I strongly recommend that you watch the movie entitled "The life of Walter Milly". I was lent that DVD when I was in Tunisia and it definitely brought me solace.. And the very next year, Iceland here I come (or, actually, to tell but the truth only, I was in Reykjavik's airport for a flight transfer ! Yet, I do have the hope of going all the way up there one day, I just need to be fit enough for that perilous task :)

Towards the end of my addiction I came across this mix and the first track helped me find hope and "Love Is Not Enough" became the mantra that would eventually lift me up and out of what would have been my death. The last lines of the song -" One day you will fly away from here One day you will leave your hurts behind" - came true and as I reflect I am forever great-full for this ENTIRE mix.

I still love this almost two years on. Regardless of some others thoughts, the first part is the best for me. I spent a few weeks laid on a boat in the Caribbean (lucky me - that won't happen again.) This was my go-to album at the end of the night after a few beers, feeling the waves slap against the boat, looking up at the stars in the sky whilst being rocked gently to sleep, not a care in the world. It doesn't get much better than that. I thank my lucky stars for those precious moments.

20:45 Deadmau5 always makes his songs be a chord progression that increases the cutoff until it is at its highest intensity, then he brings in the house drum beat with the same chord progression but with minimal cutoff. Has anyone else noticed he does this in like 90% of his classics?
@marlofflrf80728 жыл бұрын
It's weird that no one else realizes that he does not make quality music :/
@Gohsted7 жыл бұрын
Exactly. And after he cuts the beat its so anticlimactic. His music could be so much better.
@re-enlisttoday78167 жыл бұрын
However, that's exactly what his goal is. He lives for the off-beat, and irregular progressions and drops. The difference between him and everyone else, is that he makes the music *he* likes. He doesn't cater to the popular opinion.
@x0rai9077 жыл бұрын
@Re-enlist Today! Exactly. Moreover, his chord progressions may be results of experimentation (He said that himself) but they can evoke so much emotions! I always loved deadmau5 because of the way I can relate my emotions with his melodies.
