IMO, this controller is not that good at its price. The only reason people buy this controller is for eggns. The buttons are just a basic tactile buttons, including the R,L,ZR,ZL buttons. Analog sticks are quite okay, just like the xbox controller clones have. Nothing fancy on this controller despite the fact it is priced around 50-60 usd. @@dannyd4339 I was saying I like the controller, but EggNS kinda sucks. Controversy aside, EggNS is buggy and it's emulation accuracy is poor. I'm not judging anyone. People are free to do what they want. I'm saying they will probably be let down by Egg NS.
@assassinhidblade51472 жыл бұрын
@@dannyd4339 What. I love this controller but you cannot ignore the problem with Eggns, which is stealing codes from a well known emulator and then try to make money from it, Eggns also is forcing you to use this controller and wont work with ant others. Its leaves a bad mark on emulation, and their practice is far worst than Nintendo shutting down eshops. There a lot of bad with vibes the emulator that its too long to list here. If your still getting the contoller for EggNs, you can do it if you want, Sujano isn't saying your a POS if your using it. His just criticising what's EggNs been doing. Kinda like the samw debacle with Epic Game store and its annoying exclusive.
@assassinhidblade51472 жыл бұрын
@@dannyd4339 You can if you don't credit them and then use it for your own profit. Its shaddy as heck. Youre really asking for it so here some stuff. 1)You need an account to use it 2) Eggns is locked to only the gamesir x2 3) You can only use it while online and NEEDS to be online all the time 4) It require permission that no other emulation needs like location, acess for contacts and etc 5) Its like DamonPs2, where that emu chargw you by coin, this charge you by knowing your information and forcing you to but a controller. Another clarification, even tho they took code from Yuzu, the dev from yuzu have say they dont mind if they making money from it, but what they don't like is how they breaking license agreement and use their code without making it public.

A better review, although no mention of whether the triggers are analogue. It is overpriced, like many controllers and the comments regarding the longer term build quality make the expense even more precarious. It only really has the Razer Kishi as competition, so more manufacturers should come in to provide some decent lower priced options with the same functionality/quality. I would also rather have a combined Bluetooth and USB-C device and see no reason why this could not happen. I do like the moveable USB-C connector which will reduce the possibility of damage and the case is a nice touch. I am glad that you were honest about your pros and cons and not seeking to frame downsides like too many other tech reviewers in order that they don't upset their hardware providers. Bottom line is that Gamesir really need to do more to make it worth the price or reduce the price in the first place. And I have never heard accessories pronounced in that way lol

I wasn't really expecting a lot from this controller/emulator but I've been blown away. I'd rather use this controller than my actual joycons. Like don't even get me started on how pissed I was when I held my switch for the first time and held this tiny little plastic Twinkies. I lost so many matches in arms because of it. Great controller, if your not looking for egg ns I recommend the Bluetooth version. I've had it for a good minute now and it's my go to for wild rift but not for any fps. If your looking for a good fps controller cause Apex is coming out I recommend the flydigi wasp 2. I got 2 videos playing Apex mobile from a few months ago on my channel. It's amazing, it's only one handed but trust me once you get used to looking around with your thumb it's way more precise than a controller thumb stick. Weirdly enough I never had a problem with the right joystick. Then again the controller feels tiny in my hands. I do believe it does have malware or something, I've been getting weird emails and weird shit being sent to my Google drive but I don't even use Google drive. Another weird thing was all my Google accounts were logged out in my browser. My internet browser glitches badly when the app is running. Idk if this is happening to anyone else but all of this started once I got the controller and made an account. I'm also getting emails that I'm signing up for weird stuff like Medicare. The night I got the controller I got 2 emails around 4 am that I created an account then got a phone call about it later on that day. I did find a weird app that was also installed the day I got the controller which was running in the background. When I finally found it, it had no picture app it was just blank. I thought about doing a factory reset but I really can't find anything else out of the ordinary. Deleting that unknown app did help. Things have been quiet but the app does make my phone glitch out sometimes the app crashes and my phone does a weird refresh thing then goes straight to the home screen. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but when he brought it up, it got me thinking hard... I would have never noticed till I turned off "do not disturb" and my notifications was flooded with all sorts of crap.

I was torn between this and the Kishi. Ended up going with the Kishi because it has analogue L2 and R2 trigger buttons. The Gamesir X2 did not have analogue buttons. Just my opinion here. When we are talking about telescopic controllers, there aren't too many options out there. Razer kishi is another great option, and maybe superior in quality, but it is $30 more expensive, and also has downsides. I have both, and personally, I like more the Gamesir X2. Also, I don't agree that Egg Ns "doesn't perform well at all". It is controversial, yeah, and I also hope that skyline does for N switch emulation what AetherSx2 did for PS2 emulation, but let me tell you that there are many games that are very very enjoyable from start to finish on this emulator, and even there are a few that run almost perfect. Aside from the controversy, and whether we like or not, Egg Ns is still the only effective way to emulate switch on android so far, and even when it is not perfect, and maybe never will be, it is functional. So my advice is, if you are after a telescopic controller, you won't find a cheaper one with the same quality, and still, if you don't like what they are doing with this emulator, get the controller and don't install egg ns.
