This is one of my favorite songs, but it means so much more to me after learning from Paul that this song was based on a visit from his dead mother one night when he was depressed and upset over what was going on with his life at the time. Suddenly, his mother, who had died over a decade earlier, appeared to him and told him to just "Let it Be", which soothed him and gave him peace about the situation. It all worked out. Several of his songs were based on spiritual experiences, like when he woke up with the tune Yesterday in his head and, after finding it wasn't someone else's song, he wrote it down.

And people know that he has not the power of his younger days, but still you come to see one of the giants. I have seen some Jazz musicians far beyond their heydays, but them had this magic aura. Barney Bigard, clarinet player in the Ellington band of the 30/40s, he had even worked for King Oliver and Jelly Roll Morton, not to mention Louis Armstrong, didn't play well anymore when I saw him, but he had the gravitas of history on stage. Old Beatle singing. Little did John know his soulmate Paul is still singing and I love it! They left a legacy that will never die. And I'm proud to have lived as a teenager loving and listening to all of their music.privileged would be a better word. RIP John and George.

its bcoz, music is a carrier of memories, whispering to your ears the happy younger days and realizing the truth that time flies sooo fast.

Paul when he sings LOOK AT ALL THE LOnely people,,,,,,,,,,,,,,he recognizes that not everyone is happy, satisfied, etc, etc...............He gives a nod to all those in this world that don't have what they need or what they want...................oh god, I cry listening to this................it rips out my heart. When I go to cities and see all the homeless lying on our sidewalks...........I cry, it immobilizes me. We are such a great country, but the fact that there are homeless lying on our sidewalks every night makes me cry................There WILL BE AN ANSWER.............I stop and give them a cup of soup, but that's not the answer.

Don't worry about singing "Michelle", in front of the President, Sir Paul. The real trouble would've started if you sang, "Back in the USSR".

@@PaulZink Well I mean, whenever you look up greatest musician of all time, next to classical musicians like Mozart and Beethoven, you get the Beatles. Even then, 90% of the time classical musicians aren’t included and the Beatles are left at number 1. So I’d say since Paul was part of the Beatles, yes he’s the greatest musician of all time, as well as the other band members.
@PaulZink3 жыл бұрын
@@atasteofhoney6018 When you look up "greatest musician of all time, you'll get a choice of polls taken predominantly of young people whose knowledge of music is mainly limited to pop and rock, so of course within those parameters, the Beatles should rank as #1 (there will be dissenters that). Any serious musician with any historical knowledge of music will most likely tell you it's a question that's really impossible to answer. However, if pressed, many will say J.S. Bach, (assuming you count composers as "musicians")-and probably Paul McCartney would agree with that.

As Paul McCartney one of the greatest artist of our times, songwriter, singer and performer brings music to the White House with the song Let it Be!! Right behind him there is a wall where he is seated on his piano. .On that wall is a beautiful painted portrait of another great man who started our country 🇺🇲 one of our forefathers , Presidential George Washington 🇺🇲 some may say it's coincidental but I say 💯this reflex even though these two men are ages apart what these two great men accomplished and how they influenced so many people and making change for the better🌹 not only to this country but to so many others as well. God bless them 🇺🇲🌹🇺🇲 and all the Great Men from a musician to the president of the United States of America 🇺🇲
