One of the best channels I've came across lately on youtube, Torbjorn! Great job using drone and the rest of the footage in a nice editing composition.

Typical Norway. On the westcoast it's even much more challenging with big fjords deep into the country. Coming more soon :-)

At 2:15, don't even see an access road to this structure (whatever it is). But talk about a jaw-dropping gorgeous view!! At 4:58 - wow - the complexity of those rock cuts. It looks like various waterfalls converge along there...when water is running...in the spring? I have seen this old power plant before. It must have been in another video of yours, from the road.

Hi. It's a communication tower. During the cold war it also was a NATO facility. The acces is innside the mountain. gaustabanen.no/en/ Have another video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2mxgmtug7WKq9U

Mmmmmm...truly exquisite countryside! Starting at 2:54, this part of the city looks so beautifully maintained. Is it very expensive to live there? Is it a year round community, or more summer homes?
@mrtobbs
@mrtobbs 6 жыл бұрын
It's a year around community. It's actually inside the country and it's a lake you see in the start not the ocean. It is as explained where Norways industrial adventure started. To produce artificial fertilizer a huge amount of electircal power was needed and thats why this place was picked out because of the huge waterfall at the upper end of the valley. It is not expensive to live her, neacause of the of the modernization of the industri. Less workers are needed. Other things are takeing over though like tourism. Wintersports in the winter and the old powerplaant Vemork are very well visited. The city is on UNESCOS world heritage list.

@@mrtobbs A world heritage site - wonderful!
@Arbaaltheundefeated
@Arbaaltheundefeated 2 жыл бұрын
@@WhiteTiger333 The whole town is a world heritage site, you have to submit an application just to repaint your house :D But seriously, I adore living here, and the only reason I was able to live here is that it's actually very cheap (in terms of housing cost). Like Torbjorn implied though, if the plan is to find work... I would look elsewhere, or find a job first then the accommodations.

Hi there! Would it be alright for me to use like five seconds in my KZbin video to show what this city looks like? I am using it as an illustration to talk about Light Reflection. Thanks so much!
