I used to hear the men's chorus sing this at Springfield Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Those brother would come shouting out the choir stand and run down the aisle, and when one would try to stop and constrain another they look as if they were tackling a football player. I'd be running and shouting right along with them. Mama's gone on to glory but I remember the words she said to me back in 1965 when I was five year old, "No son, we're not poor. We're rich! We're rich in spirit." You're so right! We didn't have much, but we were rich! There are many who are rich in material things, who are poor and still have not experience the richness of God.

I appreciate you for upholding the "oldie Goldie" songs of gospel. I do not know these songs, but it's so nice to be able to hear the songs my grandmother and maybe my great grandmother knew. Thank you- a talent indeed!
