The main problem with the circular tracks like Haas and Mercades, I recall some racing series back in the 80's or 90's drove on a circular track like that. The drivers complained about the constant G-forces and fatigue that made it hard to focus. I understad the hairpin break is probably helpful for them... But could be a bit of a saftey issue driving a turn for 45 seconds. May also want to pit halfway through your run just to put the tires on the other side of the car for maximum life XD

@@MrVsGarageI would have to assume an actual circle would be worse than what NASCAR/Indycar drivers are going through. If you look at famous ovals like Daytona or IMS they’re actually not under sustained Gs for a very long time per lap. Over the course of a full race, yeah, it’s a lot, but on the straights they get a bit of a break, there’s an ebb and flow to the forces within each lap. An actual circle would mean being dealing with sustained G-forces for MUCH longer continuous stretches. I think you’re right though. Still probably trainable.

@@oliverwatkiss6113on Baku if it’s not a bend then it’s a 90 degree turn. Even the castle section. First turn after the double very tight 90degree turns is a 90 degree right turn. Then You have a 90 degree left into the castle followed by a slight bend right then sharp bend left. Folowed immediately by a 90 degree right. Then into a 90 left which can be taken wide enough where you don’t have to do a full 90 turn. Then onto a very bendy part into the final 90 degree left of section 2. Baku is 90 degree track with some bends
@tempo63419 күн бұрын
@@oliverwatkiss6113however I would agree Baku is wayyy more interesting than the kick logo mainly because the variety in the 90 degree turns some you need to slow down more than others. And the variety in their straight away and the straight away not always being completely straight. Theirs still bends to the straights. The kick logo would literally be the same turn over and over and over. Just weather you go left or right. Literally the same exit strategy and entrance strategy to every turn would get very boring very quickly.

@imrustyokay4 ай бұрын
All the Circle tracks remind me of Langhorne Speedway near Philadelphia, which was basically one near-perfect circle. It wasn't properly maintained, often had literal rocks thrown at other drivers and into the stands, and, because it was just one massive turn, everyone basically had to do one big drift. Often times, one driver spinning could lead to many other drivers crashing into them, with no reasonable area to slow down, and in all 27 people lost their lives at that track. The track is now abandoned, has been turned into some woods, a Sam's Club Warehouse Store and, ironically, a Car Dealership. I wonder if the people who own that have any idea...
