As an architect in the making lol, this in depth house tour gave me so much knowledge. Like the washroom being upstairs obviously makes so much sense but its an easy detail to miss and leave it on the 1st floor

It does and it doesn’t. Having it upstairs may be more practical for everyday use, but when your washer lt. dryer breaks down, you move out / in or you buy a new appliance, it’s much more difficult to bring it up stairs. Plus if it leaks you then have to worry about not only damage to that floor, but the floor below.

Hi! This looks amazing!!!! I have one suggestion. I noticed that you guys have Sanus architectural wiring. Consider using the Sonos & Sonace in wall/in ceiling speakers for your cinema. It has amazing surround sound with Dolby Atmos capabilities! Also consider using Sonos speakers as they also support the super smart functionality you guys are looking for! Really though, congratulations on your new house! I’ve been watching for many years now and have loved the progression in your channel. I’m so excited to see what’s next!

Congratulations on your new home! I’m genuinely proud of you. If it were me, though, I’d consider keeping work and home separate. Your house should be a place where you truly feel at home, and mixing in work might take away from that. Right now, it’s just the two of you, but down the line, as you start building a family, there will be more activity-kids, relatives, friends dropping by. It might get tricky balancing all of that with your workspace under the same roof. Having your team around every day could mean a lack of privacy, and there’ll likely be late-night editing sessions or other work-related activities. What worked before might feel different now that you’re married. Personally, I’d go for a separate studio and a smaller house rather than one big space for everything. But hey, that’s just my perspective. You’ve probably given this a lot of thought, and I could be off! Anyway, congratulations again on the new place!

Yeah was thinking the same thing. Also I love polished concrete but having zero carpeted floor in things like the bedroom and lounge is honestly not that great as it's super loud. But I guess if it's concrete they can always add carpet if needed.
