This comparison has a few flaws. Huawei in utter darkness. ISO 409600 uses. And Samsung is 6400. Samsung attracts a dim, and it's Google's ISO 12800. Huawei will absorb at least 70 times more light. Because the size of the sensor is 120% larger. And filming Huawei ISO 51200. Samsung is 1600. And in real darkness it shows close to absolute

By the time f2 comes out, 3a would drop by about £100 in price. So they would probably be about the same price. Value-for-money-wise, Pixel 3a is one of the best phones out there - especially if camera is taken as a priority.

Google does not simply offer the best camera but it offers the best software also which is the fastest phone out there, you get a all inclusive best camera software updates and speed on a single budget phone. If you are going for a phone for it looks then you should get yourself a girl friend or buy yourself a pair of good looking boots since you care so much about the looks. You won't usr your phone like hey look i got a good looking phone, a phone needs to be capable of getting the job done and Pixel does it. A70 has just a bigger screen it's processor sucks and the camera sucks, i am not going to even go through software or delayed updates, basically it looks good and has 4 cameras but it comes no where near close, so you are buying yourself a budget doll phone which you could get a Budget top tear notch Pixel phone be it a 2 Xl or be it a 3a with that price. I own a 2 Xl and a A70 galaxy, i got also a galaxy note 8 the a70 does not even compare to a note 8 let alone comparing it to pixel i just regret paying money to this phone.

I am not an expert photographer but from what I have seen,on a dslr the cutout of the blur is quite soft and the blur quite gradual. Pixel is amazing in its own way but it doesn't look like a dslr camera.

Sparsh Gupta I think the P30P has better zoomed video and significantly better low light video, but Samsung S10+ is better in normal conditions. The P30P is the best camera phone due to its hardware from zoom to low light it kills the competition. Software wise you can use pro mode on the P30p or use another camera app so that can be improved. But hardware is fixed and the S10+ simply has not got that ability and never will. If photos are your thing then only one choice, the P30p. Thankfully overall it is a very good phone in most other features, so in Europe with the lousy Exynos S10 the P30P is the easy choice even with massive S10 discounts (due to low sales).

@@andyH_EnglandIf you talk about zoom, I agree, P30 pro is the best but if you talk about low light, i don't agree with the fact that the most brighter shot is the best one. I like my shots closer to reality or a tiny bit brighter. But everyone has a personal preference. And if you remove the low light and the zoom, I think the s10 provides the most balance overall. Besides, the EMUI is not as great as ONEUI. I personally use the exynos s10, it's no slouch in performance. I don't believe in benchmarks. I believe a phone is not just a camera. It is a phone first. :)

All great cameras with different advantages over the other two. My personal pick would be P30 Pro, because it's pretty much always dark here. (One week of summer doesn't really count.) And I love the quality of the zoom. Although, S10 is the king of slow motion and daylight photography, as well as one of the best all arounders. That said, I'd probably skip P30 Pro and wait for P40 Pro. Or Mate 30 Pro to get a better chip that can handle 4K60 and decent slow motion.

S10's the best out of the 3 in general . Daytime pictures are sharper and better exposed on the s10 and the p30 pro makes them look like they where filtered . Video also goes to the s10 . P30 is much better at night tho

I personally prefer the photos on the Pixel, imo the color signature is the nicest and most realistic. If you were planning on processing the photos in post the 3a's would be the most versatile because the color profile is very true to life and it preserves details in the shadows. They also look great straight out of the camera. Although, s10's video is very well done.

S10 overall the best camera. Best video, audio, front cam, daylight, HDR, slo mo, ultra wide and even medium low light it is the most realistic. It really only gets beaten in extreme lowlight and extreme zoom, that's it.

Loved this review! Very informative and it really helped me in making a decision to what phone I'm gonna buy later today. I have a Pixel 2 XL but need a new one ASAP! I don't wanna buy an expensive phone though cause it's not worth it. Not even the Pixel 4 which I was looking forward to buying but... Not anymore! I was thinking either Pixel 3, 3a or the OnePlus 7t and I think the 3a is the winner. It's a great mid range phone and it manages to keep up with most of the high end phones.
