This was good althought i build from bottom up, i use the riser to cap the back of the tread and so on, so you only have yo worry about the sides of the board fitting perfect

Hi Alex, I am doing installation from the up to the bottom, because it’s cover the gap between riser and tread when you step to the tread. But you’re way very good too.

Doesn't this mess up all your stair to riser ratio dimensions? Why not just fix the drywall or install a skirt? Man, that's a lot of plywood to fix a simple issue.

Hi, This material 7.5 inch wide and 5/8 thickness.I made this noses on job site. You can find on my channel few videos how to make square nosing. Good luck in your project.
