Brian as Axis / Chris as Allies, Using Abandoned Monitoring Station House Rules Version Omega 2.4, available here: bit.ly/2wDi09Q
Unlike most of our videos, we weren't able to upload the post-game commentary at the end of the video, so I'll summarize it below. Spoilers ahead, if that concerns you.

We called the game an Allies victory after Turn 11, even though Japan was pulling down more than 100 IPCs/turn. But that was only because it had been left alone for the entire game. My Axis strategy this time around was to go Russia-first with Germany--but waiting until G3 to attack Russia turned out to be too slow of an execution.I also took inspiration from SiredBlood's "Kobra Kai" strategy by building the industrial complex in Romania. Japan, meanwhile, projected power toward Calcutta and the Money Islands and gobbled up China to get the 6 IPC bonus (thanks in part to the fact that we eliminated the Chinese Partisan Rule from our house rules). But it didn't threaten the US at all in the Pacific, which made it easier for the US to go entirely KGF. Chris also thinks Japan should have done more to pressure Russia instead of China and Calcutta, and that Japan built too much infrastructure in Asia (such as the military bases that our house rules allow) and should have relied on more transports instead. On the Allied side, Russia did a great job of mimicking Japan's typical tactic of supporting its ground units with overwhelming air support. Chris also took inspiration from the "Red Tide" strategy that Gargantua advocates in the A&A Forums, which involves buying a lot of aggressive mobile units for Russia at the beginning of the game. That played a big role in slowing Germany down, and is going to become Chris's standard opening move for Russia. The military bases on the Mediterranean islands and Africa turned out to be a great way for the Allies to get a consistent flow of boots on the ground--to the point that we're considered reducing or eliminating this type of factory in future rule revisions.
Overall, we had a lot of fun being able to play the game out for so long.
