Zim still has so much potential. A lick of paint 🎨, overgrown grasses cut ✂️, roads 🛣 resealed, and the place will look amazing.

I grew up in Zim I remember walking to the post office to post letters and also the pay phone at the back of there shops. It looks so run down though. I remember the supermarket where we used to do groceries. And the freshly baked bread they used to sell. Thank you for showing Marlborough. I’m just laughing as I recognise some of the roads and I know some people who live there.

Great coming with you on the tour of parts of Marlborough Park in Harare, Zimbabwe. I grew up in good old Mbare and never set foot in Marlborough because it was one of those Whites Only residential areas. I'm in the UK now & I was pleased to see bits of that low density area. Some of those formerly lovely places need to be better looked after. I like the house designs in the newer parts of Marlborough. Reminded me of some of the British or English neighbourhoods here. Well done, Mr Zim. Keep up the good work of showing us all these neighbourhoods in and around Harare.

Fam...believe me when i tell you that our quality of life has the potential to be so much higher at home than anywhere else in the world. I'm saying this as someone who has lived in the States for 25 years (DC 12 yrs , New York 13 years). We need to invest in these spaces and make them absolutely world class. I'm moving back home at the moment and im excited to do that work

It's like.... When the Rhodesians left..... They left with the development., bad roads, market stalls everywhere around the civic centre. The houses and yards look nice. But council needs to set standards
@nabiabi39912 жыл бұрын
Our developers need to take a leaf from how the Russians build residential complexes. We waste too much land building only two to three floors up. Watched some apartments in Russia, and in Zim, those complexes will be considered five-star hotels. We need a mind shift from these colonial designs and build more modern ones
