Good use of Excel is a magic trick to 99% of the world. I learned this back in the very early '90s, when to learn formulas and everything else, I had to refer to that paperback book that used to ship with the application box.

You 100% understand what I do. For 25 years of teaching I have always said: Good teaching is story telling. That's it. But creating a great story is like creating great art: no extraneous elements and everything much be in the right order. Very hard to do, and it takes a long time. But I have been practicing for 25 years. For example, after 25 years, this video took 90 hours to create. And that is fast.

As a slow learner I've really been enjoying this series :D Just a quick question tho to understand a little better: at the 54:00 timestamp where you showed us the average function, I got 1s on the %Grade columns and a 4 in the Decimal grade column instead of the numbers you got. Hi! my Excel version does not provide a list of available functions when using BYCOL or BYROW. However, I managed to make it work by using the LAMBDA function to specify the desired operation. Here are the formulas I used: Row SUM with BYROW: =BYROW(C8:J13, LAMBDA(row, SUM(row))) Column Average with BYCOL: =BYCOL(C8:J13, LAMBDA(col, AVERAGE(col))) 😎😎

The web version is missing many features, especially when we get to the second 1/2 of the class and study Data Analysis. THE only version to have is MS 365 Excel. No other version is even close. It is worth the money by far.

When doing the Weekdays for dates it didn't go to next weeks dates for Monday but it did for Tuesday and onward. Then when doing the %Grade my column didn't autofill so I tried dragging down the angry rabbit and it gave me those Div/0 errors like when we didn't lock in the k5 cell. Any Ideas?
