9:59 occasional Paint 3D artist here, and having used Paint 3D for multiple years now. It's was a bit frustrating at first, but now I make good - decent semi-realistic artworks. Honestly when starting out with Paint 3D, I find it normal for new users to over-complicate what they can do. Just because brush sensitivity may not be available. It's really not as bad as what Jazza made it. For instance, why was jazza trying to select different things whilst still using brush? There's a select button on the side of the screen. Also Jazza was impatient and didn't bother waiting for any of the models to complete loading. Depending on the models taken from the 3D model selection means different load times. Or it's possible that he didn't see the model he selected because it spawned in or behind the blue rectangular prism acting as the sky.

I'm just going to drop some of my MS Paint knowledge right here: -Use the pencil tool (the one among the paint bucket and eraser) for lineart/sketches. When you use the paint bucket, you won't get the white pixels along the lines. -The second color is the color of the eraser. If you want to remove the sketch underneath the lineart, change the first color to the color that you used for the sketch and hold right click to erase just the sketch. -To change the color of some lines without using the bucket (like if you want to just change the color of one line), make the first color the color of the line and the second one the color you want to change it into. Hold right click along the line you want to change. -To create a gradient (up and down) quicker, take the line tool and drag it diagonally across the screen. Fill each side with one color (make sure the line isn't there after you do). Change the width to 1, then change it back to normal. Rotate if you want it left to right. -Want to move your drawing without the white background? Drop down the options under 'Image' (left of the tool ribbon) and drop down under 'Select'. Choose 'Transparent Selection'. You can also choose the lasso option there as well. -If you want gradient shading for your image, change the second color to the color you want to shade over. DON'T CHANGE IT UNTIL YOU COMPLETED THE LAST STEP OF THIS. Zoom out to a certain size (let's say for this example, 50%). Select all of the drawing (there should be a 'Select All' option under 'Select'). Make sure transparent selection is on! Copy it, and then go ahead and scribble the shading all over the color you wanted to shade on. Don't worry about ruining the lineart/other colors. When you are done, zoom back to what you originally had (for this example, 50%) and click paste (the clipboard). You should be left with everything but the color you shaded on unaffected. Sorry if this was confusing. ...

Nicole Grace, if you see someone who you don't agree with, you politely correct them like a mature person. Not call them names. And now we're gonna have a small debate regarding this, without caps lock or insults. Okay? Okay. I say it's like watercolor, cause think about it. You put food coloring in water and it becomes colored water. Then you apply said colored water on paper, which will then put color on the paper. Then look at watercolor. Whether you drop a watercolor on water from a tube, or dip a brush into water then rub on the dry-cake type of watercolor, it doesn't change the fact that the water also become colored. And like the food colored water, it will also get applied to a piece of paper. So no matter where the color came from, it is still basically colored water on paper.

Kleithsune Tails25 if you mix food colouring with water it becomes more watered down and less pigmented, like watercolour But food colour is harder for art than watercolour, which is MADE and optimised to make art. I’m pretty sure you can’t spread food colouring since it sinks into the paper faster than watercolour It’d be cool if jazza couldn’t use a palett and instead had to drop the colouring onto the paper then use a brush or such to spread it around? I get what you mean, but the sarcasm really isn’t needed (if you aren’t being sarcastic then I’m sorry, it just seems like it)

Sadly, I've actually done some pretty cool stuff in old school MS Paint, lol. It's tricky, and offensively time consuming to do so (like 1 pixel at a time) but it (can) be done! Cheers from Florida, Jazza! Thanks for all the GREAT content!!

What I like about traditional MS Paint is that I use it at work to quickly add arrows or other objects to a screenshot and then I copy that image from paint into my email. I know there are other tools available now, but MS Paint was always my favorite for this because it comes with every computer, it loads up quickly, it lets you make a quick and neat design, and it is simple to use. I don't know how this will work with Paint 3D. As for drawing, I can't draw with any tool, so I won't miss it for that.

cool video , thank you . MS paint is actually very usable. I create some of my digital art in MS paint and it stops me from taking too long since once something is there, it is there, basically. I do have a XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro drawing tablet with screen 22" though.

on ms paint you can right click and drag over with the color that you used for the initial sketch so that you can erase the initial sketch after adding ur final drawing on top of that initial sketch.

How much did you like this tablet? I want a display tablet but I'm always nervous to spend a lot of money. Wacom tends to be way too expensive and it has a tendency to stop working on me. I have had my current huion 610pro tablet for about a year now and I love this tablet so much, so easy to use and just amazing. But I want to get this display tablet, however I'm just nervous. Whenever I want to do some simple, drawing I use Paint. When I want to adjust the placement or rotate a piece of that simple drawing (to an angle other than 90, 180 or 270), I use Paint 3D. And when I want to do anything more complex, I go install some more professional software or borrow someone else's.

I actually use MS Paint a lot. I use Paint + Vegas Pro 17 as a substitute or workaround for Photoshop and/or Illustrator and have accomplished some pretty impressive results. If I need to have alpha transparency or Masking, then Vegas Pros got my back with that.
