What a great song especially sung by MS amma. My thought goes 50 years back. This song is my periappa's favorite and he used to ask my mother to sing it for him. As a 10 year old, I was always mesmerized by the song and my mother's voice.

Have listened his keerthanam of MysoreVasudevacharya sung by many but by M.S stand alone take towards an ecstasy thats is matchless !!...by the sweetness of tone...the minute gamakams .and the style of singing chittisvoram.....Presented a very short niraval as improvisation of melody n sworam @ raka nishakara sannibha vadane rajeevvalochane; Would have guided the percussionist to a class Thaniaavarthanam, but didn't happen due to lack of time, think so.

Great upload brother.That pic at 4:00 is so wonderful,excellent picture.I think that radiance in her face comes out of Dhyanam and extreme meditation.Its not an ordinary thing.One can clearly say that she has an external that speaks of the internal.That face looks so calm,as if all the muscles in it have relaxed,that confidence and that peace I think is possible only because,she could percieve and cross the boundary between ordinary and spirituality!!!Thanks so much for the upload :) :)

I have no knowledge of music . . i just listen all these songs just because of my love for amma and of course we dont need to know anything of enjoy amma's music!! :)) what a voice!! :) I'm a maharashtrian person so no knowledge even about telugu /tamil or all other songs she sang, but i do listen them all!!
