Quick Correction CEO approval rating doesn't mean that the CEO has approved the salaries. It simply reflects the approval rating of CEO i.e. how the employees feels and believe in their CEO. In other word more CEO approval means Positive outlook towards the leadership of the company

To hold any such positions like research associate or senior or junior research fellow they ask for a minimum 2-3 years experience and/or atleast a net gate qualification. For MSc fresher with no govt exams no industry or hospital setting is going to give more than 15-20k. Also, hospitals these days generally ask for BMLT or DMLT and production line in industry requires b pharm or m pharm degree. As a fresher in life sciences you can expect to get a job most probably in the QC/QA sector or go for BPO type stuff (where salary expectations can be higher)

Right. Colleges need to do something here. They must provide at least a chance to the students for internships. Their job is not only to prepare students for syllabus but to prepare them for job

I work in biocon ...the growth in this industry is very slow and the chances of switching job is very rare there are not enough jobs in the market and the more experience you get the less opportunities are in market ( hardly you will get 10 lakh per year after 10 years of experience) So please dont take biology as career....if u wanna earn good money

I have some concerns in you conclusion , there is no difference between pharma and biotech companies, it’s different based on the company standard, in india apart from Biocon there no any other fully established biotech companies, all others are still in development stage only, and production and manufacturing is not at all preferring phd for their, production, or QA QC department, if you wants to work in pharmaceutical or biotech industry in manufacturing units, phd is not required, if you wants to work in R&D then you can opt for phd, otherwise MSc is enough.

Sir, i have heard about the colourful opportunities and wide range of scope available in microbiology stream before taking bsc. Microbiology. But after a year of my course I got to know that in india microbiology is not that much flourishing subject as compared to UK, Germany, Netherland ect. And very less amount of jobs are available with only Msc Or Phd degree. I am really very much confused and worried regarding this. So it would really be a great help if you enlighten me about the current state of microbiology in india as you belong to the same stream. And what courses should we do along with microbiology to secure a well established career. Kindly reply . Thank you

@@Thechubbygirl_27 no , it's difficult to get a job now a days many companies are not hiring freshers they want experience so if you're deciding to do msc biotechnology just plan for any intership when you're in last year it might help you a little to get a job because biotechnology course don't provide industrial training for example a nursing student is getting experience in their work while studying because they're getting intership in hospital and it's same with hotel management but it's not like this in biotech or microbiology

Yeah, life sciences degrees are useless. People should think 100 times before joining courses like biotech, microbiology etc. I regret so much taking this subject, I don't think I would do MSc. Overhyped and overrated.
