Hello sir. I am currently in 4-1 sem, pursuing Bachelors from VNRVJIET, CSE stream. I have a CGPA of 7.91 and there are no backlogs till now. I have some good research papers which I would be publishing very soon. I also have good projects in Machine Learning and AI. I would like to pursue Masters in USA, this Fall 2024. Universities like CMU are really tough to get into, even if you have the best GPA and Research papers, because their intake is low and top students from all across the world apply. How is USC for Ms in Applied Data Science ?

USC's Applied DS program is a pretty standard in terms of curriculum- it has the right mix of core courses, electives, and project requirements. This is something you find common in most of the Top 50 DS programs however a good majority of them cost you lesser than USC (Tuition and living are both high at USC- close to INR 80L). That said, the location and career outcomes are great. If you're flexible with your budget, its a great option, otherwise I would avoid.
